Conversational Italian classes online

I worked for various company as a translator and expert advisor. I’ve been teaching privately for over 3 years now, in Skype and Zoom. Teaching online it’s what I really love doing because is so practical and modern, my students loved it. I hope you come have a trial lesson with me.

My teaching experience is mostly related to Spanish and English tutoring to Italian middle and high school students, as well as Italian tutoring to South Korean university students living in Italy: in both cases, it's very rewarding and I tried to put my students at ease as much as possible - as I'd do with you! I usually don't give homework but I like suggesting activities you can do while reviewing for the next lesson - and I you need me to review them, don't hesitate to ask!

I am a languages student so I'm perfectly aware of the problems people can have when they learn a new language. I'm here to help you! Don't be afraid of making mistakes, it's part of the process! I will help you to sound more natural and to really speak Italian. Grammar it's important but itv isn't enough.

Il mio percorso come insegnante di italiano inizia nel 2007, dopo la Laurea in Scienze Politiche e un Master in Cooperazione Internazionale e Immigrazione a Firenze: mi sono trovata a insegnare italiano a immigrati e l'esperienza mi ha cosi coinvolto che ho deciso di studiare per diventare un'insegnante certificata di italiano per stranieri. Così è stato e nel 2008 ho subito iniziato a lavorare in una scuola italiana a Buenos Aires e nel 2012 nella scuola Dante Alighieri di Quito. Attualmente lavoro come insegnante d'italiano freelance in alcune aziende italiane. Un'esperienza variegata insomma, che mi ha arricchito tantissimo e che voglio continuare a condividere con tutti i miei studenti!

My travel experience and knowledge of people of all nationalities have greatly helped me in teaching languages because I have developed empathy and listening skills to meet my students’ needs. I graduated in Foreign Languages, I am a CELI examiner, I got a Masters in Teaching Italian to Foreigners and more than 10 years of experience in teaching languages. I find important teaching Italian in a formal but funny way, as I think the learning path is more pleasant and effective. I really hope to be useful for personal improvement and overcoming fears, such as making linguistic errors, something absolutely normal and useful, if accepted, to have a starting point from which to progress successfully.

Insegno italiano a studenti di tutti i livelli, da principianti a C2, e con diverse esigenze. Sono molto paziente e cerco di rendere le mie lezioni interessanti oltre che efficaci. Ho certificazione DITALS di I livello dell'Università per stranieri di Siena e sto per laurearmi in Lingua e cultura italiane per stranieri all'università di Bologna. I teach Italian to students of all levels, from beginners to C2, and with different needs. I am very patient and I try to make my lessons interesting as well as effective. I have DITALS certification, from the University for Foreigners of Siena and I am about to graduate in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners at the University of Bologna.

I like planning lessons and materials with my students, in order to create a relaxing and even fun-filled study environment. I like teaching using material such as songs, comics, news articles, and movies, which I found very useful for learning the Italian language but also for exploring the Italian culture. I can also adapt my schedule to my students.

Considering your language level I will identify the aspects we can improve and I will adapt the conversation topics to your preferences. We will have a nice conversation on universal topics and we can also imagine specific situations to learn to use language daily. I can also help you to understand practical aspect of Italian grammar.
