Since 2009, I've been giving Italian Language and Culture courses to adults, including managers and university students. I offer courses for any level and Language Certification - like CILS, CELI and the new B1 level test for obtaining the italian citizenship - or interest whether tourism, work, study or simply a passion for the language.

I have taught Italian and Latin in public schools in Italy for about ten years. Currently I teach mainly Italian for foreigners, in particular for foreign managers who need professional/business Italian courses for their companies' activity. I can also offer specialized Italian courses for doctors and lawyers. I still remember my first Italian lesson: it was amazing, because I immediately understood that I loved what I was doing, and time passed in a blink of an eye! I always do my best for every student and when I see that my students, lesson after lesson, become able to speak their target language and that they follow the courses with pleasure, it makes me love this work more and more.

I am a certified teacher (I obtained the DITALS certification from the University for foreigners of Siena) and I have experience with one-to-one lessons both in presence and online, with adults of many nationalities and with teenagers and children. Before that I studied at the Liceo classico (studying Italian literature, Latin and ancient greek language and literature) and then I studied international law at the university of Milan.

I have been a teacher of Italian to foreigners for about 10 years. It started as a great passion and then turned into a profession. I’m a teacher certified by the University for Foreigners of Siena (DITALS Certificate). I have taught in refugee centers to adults from different countries (English-speaking, French-speaking, Arabic-speaking) and with different levels of language. I have had experiences in schools for teenagers and in language workshops for children.

I am a very passionate teacher, I love to share my language and my knowledge about Italy, and its culture, films, music, literature, arts, food!!! I firmly believe that learning is based on trust between teacher and student, and the first objective of my classes is to individuate student's objectives and preferences.

I am a qualified teacher of Italian for speakers of other languages, with a degree from Siena University. I began teaching in 2009, and I can't stop it. Home and abroad, I like to meet students from all over the world with an interest in my native language, to encourage their development and success.

I like to share my culture as much as I like to learn from other cultures, which is why I started to give private Italian lessons to foreigners of every level and from all around the world. I like to understand what my student's goal is and find the most effective way for us to reach it together. In my experience, in order to learn a language, it is very important to speak. I worked in Manchester to improving my English skills; I worked as a teacher in a technical school (1 year); I have been working as a private teacher for 5 years. I worked as a touristic guide in a famous cellar in Sicily: cantine Florio. I worked in a private school “Antemar” and I taught "italian for business".

In the last 6 years I thought Italian to hundreds of Chinese students. I taught in Hubei University of Technology, and in many private training centers around china. I am a certified Italian language teacher (CEDILS certification by University of Venice). I also just completed a Master Degree in Teaching Italian as a foreign language by University of Insubria. Besides I got a degree in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language too... I did my studies. I continue to study in order to be always up-to-date on new teaching methods because it is very important to me to facilitate my students in the study of the Italian language. I love to transmit the passion for the study of the Italian language and consequently the knowledge of its history. My students learn to speak Italian fluently and discover the history, culture, music, art, cuisine and many curiosities of our Bel Paese.

Me as a teacher? I am very patient and I enjoy learning from my students as well. I am very flexible too , and I want to have a practical way to teach the language. I am nice and I never get angry. Never really.

I am a professional Italian teacher with DITALS II Certification of the University for Foreigners of Siena. I have been teaching for 8 years, both in schools and as a private teacher. I am patient, helpful and creative. I think it is very important to learn with fun, so I use to create enjoyable and engaging activities making you able to speak Italian from the first day in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. I can teach all levels from beginner to advanced (A1 to C2) and help you to prepare for CILS and PLIDA exams. I am also here for you if you need to improve you Italian skills for work.

I always try to understand my students's needs and interests before to create a lesson plan and I give a lot of importance to the use of the language, both oral and written. I am very friendly and I love to have a relatonship of trust with my stydents. I love to share my culture and to understand better other cultures.

I'm a very patient person and I would like to share my passion for languages with other people all over the world. I can provide my students updating materials like grammar books, and multimedia files: videos, audios, images. I will sharing the screen with my students. I am in love with languages and I myself have been a language student, so I can say I am close to you! I perfectly master my native language and moreover I have published 4 novels and a lot of articles: so I adore to teach Italian to passionated people or to whom wants to get to know the culture of my country. I have been teaching students from different nationalities on 2 continents, so I know different methods of teaching.

My first experience with language-teaching and exchange (a good and useful experience) was represented by tandem language learning (when I lived in Brighton). My lessons are structured according to language proficiency levels set by the European framework. But, beyond that, methodology, approach and the relationship between teacher and student are all that matters. Language isn't just grammar. Language is a communicative act and grammar plays a fundamental role in order to learn a language. It can't be, however, the only way to "achieve the objective". I think you can learn languages if you don't get bored, if you feel enthusiasm, if you have passion for what you are learning.

My studies and the work experiences have allowed me to have a cross-disciplinary approach to knowledge and to increase my teaching skills, being able to create a deep connection between me and my students. In my activities I explore, build and applicate the most innovative strategies and tools, from a global, fresh and dynamic perspective.

As an autodidactic polyglot, I am pretty familiar with challenges and tricks of learning languages and I help students overcome and master them. I have been teaching in different schools in several countries to students of different ages and levels. I am currently a teacher in a junior-high school in Italy. I have had classes for IELTS & TOEFL preparations, business courses, general English for children and adults and also conversation classes. During my BA degree in Italy, I have obtained extensive training on teaching methods and strategies that next to my long years of practical experience, it makes me a versatile teacher with robust classes that are both friendly and resourceful.
