About Me

I am Gloria, I come from Rome and I work as a flight attendant in Italy, Sardinia. In my spare time I have different passions such as theater, sport and online Italian teaching. I have always been a great lover of foreign languages and my two degrees in Oriental Languages and Cultures and in International Relations have put me in contact several times with the study of a new language. In the the past I have also lived abroad: in Finland (where I lived my Erasmus experience), Denmark and Germany, where I had the opportunity to do language exchanges with students from all over the world and experience the so-called "linguistic shock", trying to overcome it with enthusiasm.

Me as a Teacher

I find important teaching Italian in a formal but funny way, as I think the learning path is more pleasant and effective. I really hope to be useful for personal improvement and overcoming fears, such as making linguistic errors, something absolutely normal and useful, if accepted, to have a starting point from which to progress successfully.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons will consist of simple steps: the first meeting with the student will be useful to understand his level and organize a personalized teaching program, made of targeted exercises; It is also very important to me listening to the student and try to understand which aspect of the language (speaking, listening, grammar, comprehension of the text, etc.)he wants to improve, in order to be able to devote most of the lesson to the practice of this area. At the end of each lesson, I will also give homework and indicate to the student all the mistakes made. It is also useful to make a list of the new vocabulary learned, enriching it with synonyms and notes.
