I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. I hold an MA in International Communication, an MA in Didactics, two BAs in Translating and Interpreting and a CELTA (Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults).

At formal lessons I work with various textbooks as well as with my own materials. We can focus mostly on communication and listening comprehension or choose a more general approach towards learning. At informal conversation classes I make you talk as much as possible asking you lots of questions and correcting you in the Skype chat or in a Google Docs file so that you're able to review everything on your own afterwards. I can also make extra voice recordings if asked.

I have pedagogical education in the field of teaching languages. I have been working as a teacher for 8 years so far. Mostly, I work with teenagers and adults of different levels (beginners, A1-C2). I worked at school, at university, at a language school; as a tutor; at the lycée in Europe I am a patient teacher who gives the opportunity to think and correct the mistakes by students themselves without any pressure or interruption. Hello! I am new on Italki. My name is Alina and I am a Russian language teacher. Few years ago I graduated with a masters degree in Philology, specializing in Russian as a Foreign Language. I worked at universities in Vietnam and in Russia. Now I work as a RSL tutor online, and as an ESL teacher for kids in China offline. During my lessons we use an online whiteboard, which is available for a student after a trial lesson. I prefer to use the communicative method as the main method in my classes. What is more, I constantly encourage my students to continue practising language outside our classes, looking for opportunities to interact with the language environment through speaking, reading, as well as independently enrich their vocabulary through self-study programs. I can find the individual approach to everyone depending on their goals and needs.

During our lessons we can focus on a certain type of the four foundational skills of language learning, in which you have difficulties: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

The lessons focus on all language aspects (Reading, Writing, Listing, Speaking). In the lessons, we: 1) We work with books from well-known publishers. 2) Breaking down language barriers and learning to express our thoughts in Russian clearly and understandably. 3) Improving listening comprehension. 4) Dealing with grammar and practicing its correct use. 5) We do our best to improve your Russian and achieve your goal, for which you are learning the language. All materials are provided, so you do not have to buy anything!

I teach Russian professionally since 2015 when I graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Also I’m a certified examiner (since 2020), I have the right to administer tests in Russian (ТРКИ, all levels). I teach Russian language at the Moscow school "LanguageLink", also I have private Skype students from all over the world. I teach Russian to adults at all levels.

I like discussing various topics such as music, films, food, technologies, traveling, culture, etc. I'm good at explaining grammar, so you can ask me any questions about that.
