I'm a native Japanese speaker from Nagano in Japan, who is currently living in South Korea. I had moved around a lot in my childhood. 　　This enabled me to acquire not only standard Japanese but also several Japanese dialects. After traveling in Asia and Africa, I realized there are so many languages and cultures in this world. Since then, I have become a language enthusiast. Thus far, I have learned several languages and of course, I cannot gain fluency in all of them. 　　However, this has helped me conduct easy-to-understand and customized classes for students with diverse language backgrounds. My former students often described my classes as "tea room", and I like the fact that my class has had a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. However, I am sometimes strict on my students because I believe that encouraging students is my way of expressing respectfulness.

I’m a qualified and native Japanese teacher. I just started my career as a Japanese teacher from early this year (from Jan 2021). I have been teaching JLPT(grammar/vocabulary/Kanji/reading comprehension) at my class. I’m so excited to teach other lessons here. I am not experienced enough yet but I have a passion for teaching Japanese language and culture. I will help you if you make mistakes, cannot find any appropriate words and expressions, or cannot come up with any ideas on what to talk during the lesson. I was a school teacher for several years so I've learned to teach live people and not just through the computer. I teach not only adults but children too! I have taught 7 year old kids who did not speak Japanese at all when we began. We started from Hiragana and worked up to words and sentences. I love teaching all levels, so of course beginners are welcome! I have textbooks allowing us to crossed between book based lessons and speaking lessons. But if you want to be fluent in Japanese, you should learn with textbook, and learn Japanese language! I'll teach you how to speak in a real conversational manner and not the formal helpful but not natural conversation method used by textbooks.

Also, I passed the exam to become an official Japanese teacher. I have learned three languages, English, French and Chinese mandarin, and I understand what are the difficulties of learning languages. 420時間日本語教師養成講座を修了し、その後シドニーで2年ほど多国籍の学習者さんと一緒に日本語を勉強しました。その後帰国し、現在は技能実習生に1年半くらい教えています。毎日、対面式とZOOMの2種類の方法で教えていますので、italkiでは、ZOOMの知識を活かせればと思います。今まで教えた学習者さんは、初級と中級者さんでした。メインは直接法でしますが、必要があれば英語も使って教えます。 今までの経験から得た心持ちや指導法を発揮して、学習者さんのニーズに応えられるような講師になることが目標です。 After completing a 420-hour Japanese language teacher training course, I had been teaching to multinational learners in Sydney for about two years. After that, I returned to Japan and have been teaching technical intern trainees for about a year and a half.
