Ciao! Sono italiana ma quasi due anni vivo in Messico. Sono laureata in lingue e letterature straniere (inglese e russo), sono diplomata al conservatorio (clarinetto). Parlo anche l'olandese perché le mie origini materne sono olandesi. Mi piace molto viaggiare, leggere, suonare, imparare nuove lingue, nuove culture e tradizioni, cucinare. Inoltre sono molto appassionata di aviazione. Yes, I SPEAK ENGLISH TOO, EN JA, IK SPREEK OOK NEDERLANDS!

Me as a Teacher

Insegno su Italki da più di un anno e con il tempo ho preparato molto materiale differente per tutti i livelli. Ho insegnato italiano a bambini stranieri in Italia per diversi anni privatamente. Sono stata insegnante di inglese, di sostegno e di musica in scuole pubbliche in Italia dal 2012 al 2019. Ho insegnato inglese in progetti di recupero presso licei italiani. Ho svolto attività di volontariato in un progetto educativo in inglese in Sudafrica (luglio 2017). Ho lavorato nel settore turistico-linguistico in Italia per 7 anni. Ho svolto attività di traduzione dall'inglese e dall'olandese all'italiano.

My lessons & teaching style

IF NEEDED, EXPLANATIONS DURING MY CLASSES CAN BE HELD TOTALLY IN ENGLISH, IN DUTCH OR IN SPANISH, even if I would suggest to speak in Italian as much as possible. I have materials (grammar, vocabulary, exercises, videos) to share for all levels. Sono una persona molto aperta e provo a capire subito le esigenze delle diverse persone. Durante le lezioni, se necessario, fornisco materiali e risorse utili per l'apprendimento della lingua italiana (schemi e tabelle, esercizi, letture, video).

Very enjoyable discussion about this week's video. In a reversal from normal I am very pleased to have taught Marzia some new vocabulary - l'orso pizzly e l'orso grolare ;0). Also some helpful reading aloud practice and a much needed top up on 'verbi riflessivi' for good measure too! Already looking forward to the next session! Grazie mille, Marzia.
