It is important for me to create a safe and nurturing learning environment where my students feel free and comfortable to learn. I have taught children and adults of all ages. My goal is to see my students achieve their goals and become fluent English speakers. My lessons will be tailor-made to suit each student's learning needs. I am a patient teacher and I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language. I am also a good listener and I am here to help you learn in a fun and relaxed way.

Since I am also a language learner myself, I understand the struggles when it comes to learning different languages. When I learn try to learn a new language, I normally focus on pronunciation first. Sometimes we don't notice sounds in a foreign language because it's not in our own native language so I think it's important to become more aware of those sounds and also the flow and melody of the language you are learning.

I am a Professional online English, Portuguese and Spanish Teacher. I've obtained my qualification as a teacher with a bachelor degree and a license to teach English and Portuguese. I teach all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

I'm looking for students of all levels, with all sorts of needs. I can provide a clear introduction on basic Italian grammar and vocabulary as well as deeper insight into them through a communicative approach.

I am a TEFL certified teacher and I have over 3 years of experience teaching students of all ages. In my classes, I focus on conversation, vocabulary, and pronunciation. My classes are best suited for intermediate or advanced English learners. I think that conversation is the most important part of learning a new language.

What can you expect from me? A fun way of learning and practising a language by just having fun conversations, using documents, pictures that you can describe and asking random fun questions. In that way you'll see you already know more than you probably first expected! I love languages and helping.. And apparently I'm pretty good at explaining something! Growing up, I always had a fascination for other languages and people. In Holland you see a lot of different nationalities, so it wasn't hard to find people that spoke other languages. I quickly learnt English and later Japanese and Spanish! (I have 3 kids, I help them with their Dutch & English as well! So I do have XP with Children).

My friends like to describe me as the happiest person they know. I absolutely love meeting new people and creating a positive learning environment. I always make sure that you are comfortable and excited during our lessons. I believe that feedback is the most important aspect of learning. I will always be taking detailed notes throughout our conversations. Near the end of class, I will spend time reviewing feedback on grammar, sentence structure and pronunciation. I will also provide recommendations and strategies for how you can continue to improve outside of the classroom. From my 7-years teaching experience as well as my time as a student of Spanish, French and Portuguese, I have developed a learning philosophy which emphasises a balance between discipline and curiosity – to maintain routine, structure and consistency, whilst also searching for topics and ways of learning which stimulate interest and enjoyment. As a guitar player, lyricist and avid reader, I have found that reading interesting stories and listening to podcasts and music is a marvellous way to maintain motivation because when you connect with a language emotionally, it strengthens your learning. For this reason, I see listening as the key quality for myself as a teacher to help my students.

My overall experience in tutoring is 6 years. My fields of expertise in linguistics include English, Telugu, Hindi and Sanskrit languages. Apart from linguistics, I can also teach Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering concepts as well.
