(ES) Enseño el alemán en clases particulares desde hace más de dos años. La mayoría de mis alumnos son de países castellanohablantes. Además del español y alemán hablo catalán y algo de esperanto. (EN) I've been teaching German in one-on-one lessons for over two years now. Most of my students have been from Spanish-speaking countries. Besides English and German I also speak Catalan and some Esperanto.

I discovered my passion for teaching not by teaching languages but by teaching new concepts. Working as a Scuba Diving Instructor put me in the position of having to teach more complex ideas to students often unfamiliar with them. From there, I became inspired to teach in a more traditional classroom setting. After completing a 120-hour TEFL course, I gained some classroom experience teaching English in a primary school. During this time, I learned a lot about how to engage with students and react to their individual needs.

I worked as a freelance tutor for more than two decades and helped many students to achieve their goals. Everyone is different and while I have a nice toolbox of proven methods to help a student I will always adjust to my students and their needs. Language acquisition has many steps. We will need a good solid foundation before we can really build out our new language core.

Also can I help in grammar questions and I am specialized in German for Business and Academic German writing for Universities. I’m here to help you to boost your German level and trying to gain your confidence in speaking German.

Friends that I teach German always tell me that I was a huge help for them. I am a really patient and passionate teacher. My biggest aim will be that you speak German as perfect as possible. I pay a lot of attention to mistakes and pronunciation. I speak German very slowly compared to other German natives so that you won't have any trouble understanding me. Since I haven't study German officially I might not be a grammar expert but I can ensure you totally that I am very good in doing research and preparing sources for you. I know exactly where to look these kind of things up when I am getting asked questions about grammar and I was told that I explain very very well and easy.

As a teacher I aim to create a safe space for you, where you can be yourself and freely express your needs. The more you share your expectations with me, the more I'll be able to adapt myself and my teaching style to you. I'm patient, don't be ashamed to ask me to repeat and explain something, I'll do it as many times you need it. After all, your success is also mine, because it's a sign that I'm doing things right.

I am a professional language teacher. I studied German and Croatian at the University of Zagreb. At the moment I work as a teacher in an elementary school. I teach students who are from 6 to 14 years old. But I also teach teenagers and adults from basic to advanced levels. I've worked in several foreign language school. I like to learn and to teach foreign languages. It's fun and easy. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience. I am able to adapt my lessons for you needs. Currently, I'm giving private lessons in English and Italian. Since 2018 I am teaching Italian (A1-A2) at an adult learning centre (Volkshochschule). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I switched from classroom to online lessons in March 2020. Since June 2020 I am giving an online lesson every week in German to a lady living in Düsseldorf.
