Mir wurde in meiner Schulzeit sehr oft gesagt dass ich sehr präzise und ruhig beim erklären bin, weshalb ich mich auch entschieden habe Unterricht auf Italki zu geben. Als Lehrer versuche ich jeden Fehler beim sprechen rauszuhören und immer auch gleich Korrekturen mitzugeben. Ich bin auch komfortable genug Korrekturen, oder auch Antworten auf Englisch zu beantworten. I was often told during my school days that I am very precise and calm during explanations, which is why I decided to teach on Italki. I try as a teacher to always pick out every mistake during speaking and to always give corrections. I am also comfortable enough to give corrections, or answers in English.

Currently, I'm giving private lessons in English and Italian. Since 2018 I am teaching Italian (A1-A2) at an adult learning centre (Volkshochschule). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I switched from classroom to online lessons in March 2020. Since June 2020 I am giving an online lesson every week in German to a lady living in Düsseldorf.

I have recently completed the 180 Hour TEFL Course. I have been teaching German online. When I lived in Germany, we learned that the best way to improve your language skills is to speak. Similarly as a teacher, I believe interacting and speaking a language improves confidence and builds vocabulary.

I am a native German and English speaker and have professional experience teaching German to native English speakers, and teaching English to non-natives. Additionally, I have a bachelor's in language (Arabic) and though it is not the language I am teaching, this highly rigorous background in translation will be of benefit to both beginner's and advanced students. People usually say I am patient, open-minded, kind and optimistic. I love having deep, inspiring conversations, love learning from people and listening to their stories. I think that every human live is unique, precious and truly awesome in the original sense of this word — inspiring awe. I offer speaking practice in Russian, English and German. Russian is my native language, I was born and live since childhood in Moscow, I have very standard Russian with classic Moscow pronunciation and vocabulary. I am perfectly fluent in English and German. I don't "feel" these languages as good as I feel Russian, but I know German and English grammar through and through due to my university background.

I will appreciate if my students keep time. If you happen to be more than 10 minutes late, kindly take into consideration that the lesson might not take place. German, English or Swahili; speaking is the easiest way to learning a language. It is best for you to state your language needs so as we may work around that. You will be able to practice what you learnt in school.

Due to the fact that I'm a language learner myself, I have got to know how the process of learning a language works, and how difficult or frustrating it sometimes can be. I was teaching imaginary students when I was about 5 years old - tea parties were not really my thing ;) Now, it's been more than 10 years of teaching experience with real students in Germany, Spain and France, kids, teenagers and adults, online and offline. The tools we use in online lessons are engaging photos, videos, cartoons, audio files, titles, texts... I can claim to be a creative teacher :)
