And I always believe in my students!

I make sure my students understand the main concept before moving to the next level. Every stage builds on base of the prior one, so understanding of each level is essential.

Since I was a little girl, I have been dreaming to become a teacher – dreams come true :) I appreciate the privilege to be the reason for good changes in someone's life. I love meeting dedicated and motivated people who are excited about my native language and culture – I am just happy to be their devoted guide in the language world. A special joy is to be a teacher for kids. I am delighted to see how they rejoice in their victories in learning, how enthusiastic about everything new they are.

I consider it to be important to use a tailor-made approach to each student as each person has his or her own peculiarities, needs and interests. As a teacher, I pay a lot of attention to my professional developent (participating in various training programs and presenting at international conferences) in order to help my students to reach their goals as soon as possible and with joy. My teaching purpose is to equip my students with necessary vocabulary on a certain topic and appropriate grammar patterns, and, of course, introduce new foreign cultural concepts. I encourage my students to progress and have a good command of English as an effective tool for reaching out due to it may help open new vistas for them, immerse into foreign culture, understand a foreign society and become many-sided persons.

I took up teaching 4 years ago just after graduating from university. I began with private tutoring but found online teaching to be more convenient for a person being on the move. I have been engaged in online teaching for approximately 2 years. I have been working full-time with adults and part-time with teens.

I’ve been working as a private teacher of languages, math and physics for 25 years. I used to work in different spheres: as a teacher at school, in business education, media (newspaper, TV-channel), advertisement on TV and I have an experience in own business. Now I’m working in telecommunication industry. I also have an experience as a language learner: I studied Spanish at school, after that I was managed to learn English on my own and now I keep learning it in regular speaking with partners from various countries. Recently I started learning how to read in Greek. So it helps me in my pedagogical practice and I know the needs of the learners in foreign language and how to help them.

Currently, I teach Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian at Berlitz Language Learning Center in the United States. Before my contract with Berlitz, I worked as a private tutor of Polish and Russian. I also did some synchronized translation for the tourist groups in Poland.
