I’ve been working as a Spanish tutor for the past three years in my university’s writing and speech center. Thanks to this experience, I’ve been able to develop my teaching skills, as I’ve worked with different kinds of people who are working to perfect their language skills in terms of spelling, grammar, and written and oral expression. Additionally, I am a sociable and friendly person, and I have great listening skills as well as patience and understanding when it comes to a teaching and learning process.

Hi everyone! I'm Tatiana, a professional Spanish teacher (4 years at the linguistic college, 3 years at the University). I live in Madrid and teach a Castilian accent. I have been teaching in Italki for more than 5 years. I work with students of different levels from beginner to advanced. Tengo larga experiencia en la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera, tanto presencial como en internet. En total más de 3.000 horas. Además, trabajo como profesor de lengua y literatura española en institutos de secundaria. Lo mejor de enseñar es que aprendes cosas nuevas cada día.

Me gusta enseñar y explicar temas. También me gusta responder preguntas acerca de cosas que sé y me aseguro de que la persona haya entendido. Suelo utilizar ejemplos con frecuencia. Así mismo, soy muy paciente y empática, ya que tengo en cuenta que no todos aprendemos al mismo ritmo y de la misma forma. Me gusta entrar en confianza con las personas para que se sientan seguras conmigo.

Mi experiencia como estudiante de una lengua extranjera me ha ayudado a entender mejor el papel del profesor y del alumno y cómo adaptarme rápidamente a cada una de las necesidades o intereses que puedan surgir durante las clases. I have some experience teaching (in that case English) and found myself trully worried if my students understand the concepts. I'm the kind of person that if you want to learn, I will have enough passion to explain it to you 1000 times. I love the 'natural' or 'relaxed' teaching environment, I would always look for that. But... I know that I will push if neccesary, so they won't be some easy piece classes.

Tengo más de un año de experiencia dando tutorías conversacionales de español en línea. Comencé de manera informal hace más de dos años y actualmente lo realizo de manera formal. Soy una persona bastante paciente, amable y habladora, por lo que mis conversaciones siempre son interesantes, enriquecedoras y con mucho vocabulario y nuevos conocimientos para el alumno. He trabajado como profesor de español a tiempo completo en una organización que atiende al colectivo de personas refugiadas en Madrid. Estudié un máster en lingüística aplicada a la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera así como diversos cursos de formación del Instituto Cervantes. Mi experiencia se centra en la enseñanza de adultos de los niveles A1 a C1, pero también imparto clases privadas presenciales a niños y adolescentes de entre 8 y 17 años. Decidí ser profesor puesto que en mi anterior carrera disfruté especialmente de formar a nuevos colaboradores.

Consciente del proceso que conlleva aprender un nuevo idioma permito al alumno que vaya expresando sus inquietudes de esta manera iré gradualmente asistiendolo hasta poder avanzar luego que sean cubiertas sus espectativas durante el aprendizaje.

Te gustará saber que soy profesora de Literatura y lengua castellana en proceso, por lo cual tengo conocimiento en pedagogía, didáctica de la enseñanza, redacción de textos y el idioma persé. Los idiomas siempre han sido mi fuerte y lo que me ha abierto grandes oportunidades, así que mi motivación para enseñar, es que tú también obtengas más oportunidades al aprender un idioma como el español que es tan importante hoy en día. Además de eso soy muy paciente y entiendo el proceso de aprender un idioma pues ya pasé por ahí, es por eso que te guiaré paso a paso para que te sientas muy cómodo.

Soy una persona joven, eso me permite ser muy mente abierta a la manera de pensar de las personas y escucharlas con el mejor entendimiento posible. Yo como estudiante de varios idiomas me ha permitido entender las necesidades de los estudiantes a la hora de entender un idioma. Espero que nos llevemos bien en las clases y pasarla bien. I feel confident enough to teach from the beginner to advanced and all ages. I enjoy teach my language to other people who are persuading in their learning goals, it makes me privileged and happy to see when they achieve their goals!!
