Are you thinking of moving to a Spanish speaking country to learn the language and do you want to survive there? I can help with that! ¡Hola!-Hello! My name is Metzly and I'm a Spanish instructor from Mexico. I love music, art and cats! I recently graduated from college with a Bachelor's Degree in Languages (Universidad Cristóbal Colón, Veracruz, class of 2019). I focused on linguistics and education and I learned different language teaching methodologies that now I use in class.

Me as a Teacher

I use the Direct-Method teaching model to improve student grammar, listening, writing and speaking skills. If you book a trial lesson with me, I will make sure to focus on you and your way of learning and, together, we will improve your Spanish level in a fun and interactive way! My goal is to build a fun, safe and no-pressure learning environment for you.

My lessons & teaching style

After you book a trial lesson with me, I'll send you a comprehensive test which will allow me to determine your Spanish level. I like to focus on students' pronunciation and effective use of language. I work with visual aids such as images, flashcards or famous paintings in order to introduce vocabulary and situations of daily life.
