Mi lengua nativa es el español y me gustaría tener la oportunidad de enseñarlo. Mi principal meta como tutora es ayudarte a que hables como un nativo del español.

My teaching journey began in 2015, as a volunteer English teacher for children in New Delhi, India. In 2019 I thought online English to refugee youth in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Later, in 2020, I began giving conversational English classes and teaching on-site Spanish classes for children. Through my years of experience, I have acquired the needed skills to understand the best methods for my students to develop their language skills while overcoming their insecurities and gaining the knowledge and confidence to fully use their language in their day-to-day life.

He tenido la oportunidad de enseñar inglés de manera presencial a diferentes personas que me lo han pedido y he tenido la satisfacción de saber que he logrado que muchas de ellas se sientan cómodas con el idioma y descubran su potencial y mejoren sus habilidades. Igualmente, he viajado a diferentes países y he experimentado enseñar español a personas que nunca han tenido un acercamiento con este idioma. Al tener la facilidad de comunicarme en ambos idiomas, puedo explicar tanto inglés como en español, o viceversa, todo según las necesidades del estudiante.

I am excited about excellence in teaching either Spanish and English where the students’ diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds are understood and respected. The 5-years of Education, the 480-hours Spanish Teaching Certification which I received, and my two years of experience teaching English to native Spanish speakers and four years of experience teaching non-native Spanish speakers from France, South Korea, and the United States, among others, have made me very aware of the importance of a high-quality, communicative, supportive and motivational environment as the foundation of students’ success in Spanish learning.

I've been teaching for more than 3 years and I try to adapt my lessons to every student. I'm an ELE certified teacher so it doesn't matter if your goal is taking a Spanish test or just improving your communication skills, I'll be happy to help you. Therefore I'll use a wide range of different tools such as Google Docs, my favorite Spanish books, and podcasts, but mainly I'll use my imagination. Even though every lesson plan is unique, here you have a guide so you can have an idea of how are my lessons structured:

Teaching is one of my biggest passions and I’m really patient. I enjoy connecting with my students, getting to know them. It’s all about which road you take. With no mistakes there’s no room for learning.

I'm a very patient, kind, funny and open mind person. I have a good command of English, which makes easier to teach people who are just beginning to the Spanish-language world and don't have the skills to communicate in the language yet. I am also very respectful, educated and always try to do my best, which guarantees a good performance on the development of lessons. Lessons will be funny and very interactive using all the material you need for getting knowledge about the language.

I learned Spanish when living in my hometown in order to better communicate with people who had moved into my area, and I am continuing to learn Japanese because I think it is a fun language which allows me to communicate better with people where I live now. experience has taught me that forming meaningful relationships with people is what drives communication, so that is what I promote as a teacher. I feel that The more you expose yourself two people who care about you the more you will improve in your language skills. Mi objetivo es ayudar a todos los que quieren aprender Español o Quechua mediante lecciones divertidas. Me encanta enseñar y conocer nuevos amigos. Actualmente estoy enseñando español a una amiga americana, donde disfrutamos mucho aprendiendo y conversando. Aprender un nuevo idioma nos abre las puertas a muchas oportunidades, eso me ha motivado enseñar en esta plataforma. Yo creo que es el espacio perfecto para compartir nuestros conocimientos y experiencias.

Pienso que lo más importante es adaptar el método de enseñanza al estudiante. My extensive professional and personal background in linguistics, which has encompassed 10 years of study in 9 foreign languages, has provided me with a holistic insight into second language acquisition. Furthermore, my professional ballet training provided me with a unique insight and perception into how dance and language learning overlap as means of expression, where the ability to pay attention to body movements, transitions and music has strong parallels to the skills required to excel in speaking, listening, writing and reading. Regardless of whether you know 5 words or 500,000, I would love to work with you to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be!

I love to talk in a relaxed way and I consider it the best way to learn the language and to know what needs to be improved. What interests me the most is that you can communicate without fear or shame. That is why I want you to feel that you are with a friend: I want the classes to be fun and you to have a good time but I want you to improve your spanish at the same time. I really like the spanish grammar, so I can answer all your questions. But, if I don't know some answers, I'll do some research so I can explain it to you later.

He dado clases de español de todos los niveles, ayudando a mis alumnos a que aprendan de una manera sencilla la gramática española, expresiones que nosotros utilizamos en nuestro día a día y una buena pronunciación. Mis métodos son variados, utilizo videos, ejercicios para practicar verbos y gramática, canciones, de esta forma consigo que mis clases sean amenas y que cada día mis estudiantes quieran aprender más.

Me enfoco en desarrollar, adecuada y progresivamente, las habilidades comunicativas de mis estudiantes en el idioma. Exploro diferentes métodos de enseñanza/aprendizaje, con el fin de conseguir los objetivos trazados.

Me gusta mantener una relación cercana con mis alumnos ayudándolos a hablar español. Siempre encuentro la manera de conectar con sus gustos y aficiones para que no estudien el español si no que lo aprendan y disfruten usándolo.

Mis reglas son 1. Nunca juzgar el proceso de cada estudiante, puede ser lento o rápido, pero es personal y estoy para apoyarlo 2. Adaptarme a los gustos de cada estudiante, algunos son calladas, otros extrovertidos, así que la idea es que estén cómodos 3. Que te sientas cómodo, y tranquilo de decirme lo que quieres My rules are 1. Never judge each student's process, it may be slow or fast, but it is personal and I am there to support it. 2. Adapt to the likes and dislikes of each student, some are quiet, some are outgoing, so the idea is to make them comfortable. 3. That you feel comfortable, and at ease to tell me what you want.
