Tengo experiencia ayudando a personas de otros países a aprender español por medio de intercambio de idiomas en donde me enseñan inglés y yo enseño español, eso me ha permitido descubrir y mejorar mis habilidades de enseñanza de mi idioma, haciendo uso de diferentes recursos que faciliten el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.

I know very well the difficulties of learning a new language, and how that affects every student in a different way, that's way I prepare each of my lessons, making them both fun and very educational; mixing conversational, grammar and practical approaches, always tailoring them to your needs and preferences. I have much experience teaching from the very basics and also preparing students for their DELE/SIELE exams. I can teach you a neutral type of Spanish which you could use anywhere (remember there are more than 20 countries and 400 million Spanish speakers in the world), or also teach you the specific Chilean dialect if you need it, as it can be one of the hardest to learn among all.

I hold a diploma in translation (English-French-Spanish) and a Spanish as a foreign language certificate. I speak Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and I’m learning Italian now. I combine my translation work with teaching. I started this learning path in 2013 with in company courses, private and public schools in my country. In 2016 I decided that I wanted to share my knowledge and my language with people from all over the world.

I’m also studying to improve my English, so I know how hard it can be to learn a new language. That’s why I think it’s very important to make learners feel comfortable in class.

I am not a professional English teacher, so I am not qualified to actually TEACH English/Spanish/Catalan, but I can help you/your child PRACTICE. I do not have any teaching materials (workbooks or exercise books). Any readings we do in class, the student should find for themselves. But working with me (a native speaker) will help you improve your speaking, writing and reading skills in an informal and casual way!

I've been teaching for more than 3 years and I try to adapt my lessons to every student. I'm an ELE certified teacher so it doesn't matter if your goal is taking a Spanish test or just improving your communication skills, I'll be happy to help you. Therefore I'll use a wide range of different tools such as Google Docs, my favorite Spanish books, and podcasts, but mainly I'll use my imagination. I started teaching Maths and Spanish language to students younger than me and I always liked it. Since I came to London I improved incredibly my English and met many people through this language. Also, I encountered some people who wanted to learn my mother tongue or do language exchanges. I loved to practice this, becoming so passionate to learn and teach languages. I taught some friends how to speak Spanish and I also had 2 regular students. Now at the University, I am involved in the Action Language Program where I am a Spanish teacher making and doing activities every week.

Soy hablante nativa del idioma Español y por ser de una ciudad de la costa, tengo mi acento muy marcado y muy fácil de entender. En el idioma inglés soy nivel C1 lo cual puede ayudar a entendernos, especialmente si estas en un nivel básico de Español.
