Very good lesson as always

It was a great first lesson with Alina. We discussed about goals and interests and we started to look at the textbook. Alina is also very good at making sure that the students understand thoroughly by checking. Thank you very much and hope to see you soon!

Thank you very much for the lesson! I simply cannot recommend Alina enough! She completely individualizes every lesson for her learner, and is responsive to their needs, feedback and recommendations. It is clear that she has a deep understanding of why and how her language works the way that it does, as well as how to help non-native speakers to understand. She uses multiple approaches in her teaching including a traditional textbook based approach, and oral/aural, visual (image-based) and kinaesthetic methods (acting out with images or toys). She is VERY patient, with mistakes, pauses AND with psychological blocks/difficulties with confidence. Alina is also very generous with her time, often staying a few minutes after the lesson time, organizing group sessions with her other learners, responding to messages outside of lesson times and the like. Her English, both written and spoken, is also very good, should you need her to translate or teach in English if you are a beginner.

Good first lesson. Alina did not just have me tell her about my life, but she had me do some grammar exercises to help her better determine my level. She let me do most of the talking and used almost no English. She asked me about my learning preferences and started coming up with a plan on how she might teach me and started recommending some resources for self study. Looking forward to trying another lesson with Alina.
