I have a degree in English and Translation Studies from UFRGS, in Brazil, and I have been teaching English and Portuguese for the past seven years, in both schools and to private students. My students have ages that go from little infants in their oralization process up to adults, with several different levels of language knowledge and goals. Eu sou formada em Inglês e Tradução pela UFRGS, e venho dando aulas há mais de sete anos, em escolas e para alunos particulares. Meus alunos tem idades que variam desde bebês no processo de oralização em pré-escolas, até adultos, com diversos níveis de conhecimento prévio e objetivos.

I became a teacher when I came back to Brazil in 2014. At the same time I started teaching, I took my TESOL course and I’ve been teaching privately ever since. I really appreciate students who are independent and aren't afraid to step out of their comfort zone and learn with their own mistakes. And forget what you've heard about learning a second language being difficult as an adult. If you maintain consistency in your studies, you will reach fluency. I started speaking English when I was 30 and I became proficient not long after. If I was able to achieve this as an adult, you can as well.
