The best online Korean lessons

I’m interested in not only learning foreign languages but also in teaching Korean to international learners. During my university years, I taught Korean to exchange students from different backgrounds and helped them achieve their goals. I usually correct their journals written in Korean and help them improve their conversational skills in formal and informal settings. I also taught Korean to adult learners who prepared for the TOPIK exam and they've got level 4-6 on that exam. I realized, however, that there is a huge gap between what I know and being a teacher to someone. That motivates me to study Second Language Acquisition deeply, so I took a lot of TESOL/TKSOL classes in college.

I have a masters in education from Hanyang university and have been teaching Korean for more than 10 years as a private class. I currently teach Korean to foreign students here.

2019년 독일에서 박사후 연구원으로 활동할 당시 언어 교환 학생을 찾아 독일어와 한국어-일본어를 서로에게 가르쳐주는 활동을 1년간 진행했습니다. 이외에도 과학고를 목표로하는 중학생들을 대상으로 지구과학과 천문 분야에 대한 강의를 3개월 가량 진행해보았고 명문대 진학을 목표로 하는 학생과 멘토 제도를 통해 연결되어 국어, 영어, 수학, 과학 네가지 과목에 대한 공부 일정 관리 및 시험을 위한 중점 위주 수업을 통해 한의대에 입학시키기도 하였습니다.

I taught korean to many foreigners in Korea as a volunteer. Usually they were Japanese but there were people of various nationalities. With me, many students have fun. I can teach from the beginners if you can speak english. And if you are native japanese and beginners, please understand my japanese is not perfect. At that time, I also have helped my students to prepare TOPIK which is Korean exams like TOEFL. Whatever level of Korean you speak, I can teach. So don't worry. (And also I have experiences of language exchange more than 10 years. )

6년동안 학생들에게 한글을 가르쳤고, 현재, 온/오프라인에서 한국어를 가르치는 중입니다. I majored music in Korea. I have taught music to children for over 20 years. When I came to United States, I taught Korean to children at a Korean language school along with music. I was born and raised in Korea so you can learn accurate accent and pronunciation. I graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and I can speak Korean and English.
