I majored in Teaching Korean as a foreign language. I taught the Korean language at top-tier universities for several years. Through these experiences, I can develop my teaching skills, figure out students' Korean level (beginner, intermediate and advanced followed by Korean language centre) and provide specific classes. I specialized in teaching all the level. If you want to build solid Korean language foundations, learn correct pronunciation and understand ambiguous expression & vocabulary, I will be the best option for you. My lessons & teaching style
I wish all my students enjoy my classes and learning the Korean language. My classes will be relaxed and interesting.
*Beginning of my class, we will introduce each other, and I will check your studying goals to provide customized and proper lessons. ( This is only for first class)
*Middle of my class, I will check whether you understand the meanings of expressions & words or not. Till the phrases and vocabularies are yours, as much as you can, I will help you use them. (Sometimes, students learnt new things, but they do not know how to use it in real-time)
*After my class, you can learn and use new Korean phrases and vocabularies. I will give you homework if you are okay.

If not for Chaeyeon, I could not come this far in learning Korean. I find her teaching system really well designed. She has a structured pace to revisit what learnt and teaching new things. It helped building Korean into my daily life. Strongly recommend her lesson for absolutely beginners.

Wow, it's been a while since we had our initial session and I feel like we're progressing rapidly with new vocabs and grammar points; But despite the fact that I'm struggling (in particular, speaking/reading out loud) Chayeon is the reason why my Korean is improving quickly and I'm thankful to have her as a tutor. She often ensures I incorporate new vocabularies as part of my speaking, and checks back to see that I still retain the new materials. Thank you for all your hard work! :)

The teacher is very patient and gentle. Also she could give me the feedback, learning method and suggestion at the end of class. So if you are considering about have a free conversation or practice your speaking proficiency, Chaeyeon is a very good choice.

Really enjoyed the session with Chaeyeon. She's with great patience and always has interesting topics to guide me to practice more and the same time correct my expression and make sure I understand the why and how. Great teacher to learn Korean with!
