Sono laureata in Lingue e letterature moderne europee e americane e ho conseguito la Certificazione Cedils, in didattica dell'italiano per stranieri. Nel corso della mia carriera universitaria ho dato delle lezioni private di inglese e spagnolo a ragazzi e adulti e ho svolto due tirocini d'insegnamento presso due scuole. I graduated from the University of Cagliari (Italy) in Languages. I also have a certificate to teach Italian to foreign people (Cedils). During university, I taught Spanish and English to adults and young people and I made two apprenticeships in two schools in Italy.

Sono paziente e penso che divertirsi aiuti a imparare. I've taught Italian to foreign people for some years and I know that learning a new language is a long process. We need to be patient and determined. I can help you by talking together in Italian about several topics, but trying not to speak other languages. I would like to feel you confortable, relaxed and happy with your efforts. I'm patience and I think that fun is fundamental to learn.

During my teaching experience I realised that text books and manuals are useful but not enough to deeply understand a language, to assimilate the structure and use it properly and brilliantly in any situation. I'll always help you reach the highest confidence in your own skills making you aware, at your own pace, that once we comprehend and domesticate the grammar and we create a solid vocabulary all we need is to remember that speaking a foreign language is always funny, fulfilling and incredibly useful!

I've always loved languages and, as a language student, I know that when it comes to learning a new language the path may be tough. My aim is to help you overcome your struggles and become more confident with your Italian! I would describe myself as flexible, friendly and very much patient!

Every time I meet a new person I am surprised by the richness that the comparison and encounter with other cultures brings with it and this has always been what has moved me to travel and explore other languages ​​and new forms of communication. I lived (apart from Italy and Spain) in Australia and in South East Asia for about a year where I was exchanging convarsation practice with other people from different countries. I speak Italian, Spanish, English and a little bit of French. They are all languages ​​that I have learned almost entirely by speaking, in everyday situations, by entering into relationships with other people and for this I believe in the power of conversation.

Conversational Italian is the goal here. I'll help you gain fluency and learning new vocabulary including slang. I'm a language learner myself so I know what you wants from a teacher.

Il mio percorso di studi mi ha dato l'opportunità di perfezionare l'inglese in una Summer School al Dartmouth College (US), e il giapponese alla Ritsumeikan University di Kyoto. Questi viaggi, insieme a molti altri che ho fatto da solo o con amici, sono stati fra le esperienze più belle e divertenti fino ad ora. Il divertimento è per me la chiave per imparare presto e bene: sentendosi stimolati si impara molto più velocemente e con meno sforzi. Questo rende necessario conoscere bene la persona con cui si impara qualcosa, cioè proprio tu che stai leggendo adesso!

I prepare and adapt my classes according to my students’ needs and goals. I think that it's important to find resources that interest you because language is a tool for discovery. I think it's easier to learn quickly if you're passionate and engaged with the lesson. Additionally, I am open to students bringing relevant material or conversation topics to lessons. My goal is to help you become confident when you communicate in Italian, French, German and English.

My teaching experience is mostly related to Spanish and English tutoring to Italian middle and high school students, as well as Italian tutoring to South Korean university students living in Italy: in both cases, it's very rewarding and I tried to put my students at ease as much as possible - as I'd do with you! I usually don't give homework but I like suggesting activities you can do while reviewing for the next lesson - and I you need me to review them, don't hesitate to ask!

I can help with your pronounciation, your accent, with grammar and help you do your homework too. The goal is to strengthen your italian skills to the maximum, helping you talk, write and read like a native.

So cosa vuol dire imparare una nuova lingua, per questo sono pronta ad aiutarvi nel vostro percorso di apprendimento della cultura e della lingua italiana in modo divertente, spensierato e semplice! Ho esperienza pregressa nell'insegnamento dell'italiano a stranieri, nello specifico ho insegnato alla Dante Alighieri a Vienna e alla FormaSpeak a Rouen, in Francia.

Insegno italiano da molti anni e uso approcci diversi a seconda del gruppo classe o delle esigenze dello studente (nel caso di lezioni individuali). Mi piace pensare al mio ruolo come un accompagnatore linguistico, una guida per i miei studenti nel loro viaggio di scoperta della lingua e cultura italiana. Considero le mie lezioni delle vere e proprie mete di viaggio, in cui l'interazione e il confronto linguistico e culturale è sempre presente.

I have been teaching Italian, German and Swiss German as Foreign Languages to all public, to children aged 7 to 12, to teenagers, and to adults. I've been teaching various courses in other areas. I find important teaching Italian in a formal but funny way, as I think the learning path is more pleasant and effective. I really hope to be useful for personal improvement and overcoming fears, such as making linguistic errors, something absolutely normal and useful, if accepted, to have a starting point from which to progress successfully.

I’m a teacher who strongly believes in learning. I’ve always been a good student (and I want to keep going being one ), aware of that my way of learning can be different from my student’s. We have different paces, priorities, passions… for this reason, as a teacher, I would like to 1) understand and know my student, 2) respect his/her way to learn and progress, 3) help him/her with commitment and kindness and… 4) also to learn from him/her.
