Conversational Italian classes online

I am motivated and patient, I love teaching people from all over the world, and I have 1 year experience as a teacher in the platform "Preply". I am about to get my CEDILS certificate and I have graduated in linguistic mediation from ISIT Trento.

I've been teaching on italki since August 2019 and I also give private lessons of economics since 2 years. Over this time I developed a very flexible method, which allowed me to teach to students of any level and with different goals, preferences and needs. During our lessons, I'll always try to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can feel at ease and have fun while learning. I usually conduct my lessons in Italian as much as I can, so you get used to it, but I can also use English if you like.

I am a very calm and patient person, and I'm sure you will feel comfortable speaking with me. I speak english, german and spanish and I experienced from myself how important is talking with a native speaker to become more fluent and confident

I've a lot of experience with different kind of learners: students in school (11-18) and adults.* I'll help you to develop your Italian speaking skills and to get more comfortable in speaking and understanding. I know how hard Italian grammar can be, but I can always find the best way to make it easiest, as I really love it and know it perfectly. * I also teach music and yoga ;)

I started teaching when I was 16 years old. I have taught adults and children, in private classes and public school. I have taught Italian, English, Spanish, Italian for foreigners, and figure skating! A life as a teacher! My favorite thing? Creating value and understanding the specific needs of my students. I have lived in several foreign countries so I understand the difficulties in facing the study a new language. I have a lot of patience and I try to create a fun atmosphere so that the lesson becomes profitable and easy. I like to involve students and bring them to learn about Italian culture and traditions especially the gastronomic ones Ho vissuto in diversi paesi stranieri per cui capisco le difficoltà ad affrontare lo studio di una nuova lingua. Ho molta pazienza e cerco di creare un'atmosfera divertente in modo che la lezione risulti proficua e leggera. Mi piace coinvolgere gli studenti e portarli a conoscere la cultura e le tradizioni italiane soprattutto quelle gastronomiche.

I have been studying foreign languages for many years, and I am still in this process. Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin. You cannot teach if you are not open to learning every single day. I am currently studying to get CEDILS (Certificate to teach Italian to foreigners). I really LOVE TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE and I feel happy when my students progress. I will do my best to make you feel at ease and challenged. I will help you overcome some typical blocks we all have while learning a new language, such as the fear of making mistakes or the fear of speaking. I'm an emphatic, easy-going, and patient teacher. I can do my best with students who have already started an italian class or worked with a professional teacher, and would like to improve by practising whit conversation what they studied with theory. I think my English is good enough to help my students when their Italian will need an helping hand, but i will always try to use italian the whole lesson. I am sure many people wants to know informations and curiosities about my country and i am always happy to let people know about my culture, and discuss with them every aspect of it. I like spontaneous conversation, according to your mood and the common interests we share, like friends relaxing and talking about everything.

Come si evince dalla mia presentazione, non e' mio intento e grado, insegnare ad un livello accademico. Based on my background and life style, my goal in teaching is to improve the communication skill in everyday life needs. As I travelled a lot, I like to give priorities to those common habits and understanding of dialects and slang cacophonic weird sounds which could lead to an unpleasant experience in my beloved country. Such misleading wordings, put myself into some hard time scenarios, both in working environments either everyday life. Therefore, to plan in advance an all round historical and cultural heritance vision, should be a must for everyone willing to learn a new language.

I used to tutor children and teenagers in their school years helping them with subjects such as Italian grammar and literature. I am actually pretty much into classical literature. I also helped many adults learning Italian, especially my fellow East European and Arab immigrants. Since I've been on italki I've realized how much I missed doing this, and how much I love it! I still do not have any particular qualitication as a teacher (but it's actually in my plans) so I don't have the pretension to teach to an academic level. However, I do have a lot of experience, both live and online, and I do speak both languages on a native level, using them everyday in school, work and personal life.

You'll find that I am a very patient, supportive teacher. I enjoy helping you improve and gain confidence, and also finding ways to make the learning easy! We can talk about anything you’re comfortable with to gain experience!

I love my country, and I would like to teach my language to everyone who wants to talk about Italian culture, foreign countries, politics, music, tv, food. We will work on customising lessons, based on your level and goals. I care about my students and about forming a human relationship that can make our lessons both useful and enjoyable.

As a teacher I will teach you to be confident avoiding the fear to making mistakes, which is a crucial component for learning faster. We will practice a lot through conversation which will help you to gain confidence in communicating and understanding Italian in typical “everyday scenarios”, and most important we will learn the Italian language using a cultural approach more than an academic one, without, however, neglecting the study of grammar and pronunciation. Our conversation will be setting in a relaxed environment, as if it was a talk with friends.

I'm afraid I'm not the typical teacher. I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

My solid experience in language learning has equipped me with tricks and hacks to learn effectively and quickly. Throughout my studies, I've become aware of the learning process in different languages and I know what it takes to achieve the best results. But no pressure! I want you to be as much relaxed and comfortable as possible, friends describe me as a very patient and good listener, actually I want to create a pleasant and enjoyable setting, where students can feel free to ask for explanations or request their own favourite topics. CLASSES All of the classes are made to help the Italian learner to improve his/her Italian skills (reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation and understanding/comprehension). I make each lesson to fit the needs, abilities and the learning level for each person. Each lesson is unique because the needs of each student are unique. With each lesson, the student will learn new words, new expressions/idioms , new phrasal verbs and grammar structures.
