About Me

Hi, I’m Federica, I’m an Italian native speaker, I am here to help you improve your Italian. I was born in Milan in northern Italy. In my free time I like to play sports, plan trips and study economics. Italian is not just a question of grammar but also of culture, so I would like to teach you as much as possible about all the aspects you need to understand Italy.

Me as a Teacher

I've been teaching on italki since August 2019 and I also give private lessons of economics since 2 years. Over this time I developed a very flexible method, which allowed me to teach to students of any level and with different goals, preferences and needs. During our lessons, I'll always try to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can feel at ease and have fun while learning. I usually conduct my lessons in Italian as much as I can, so you get used to it, but I can also use English if you like.

My lessons & teaching style

I will do my best to make you feel at ease: relaxed atmosphere, no pressure at all and a little bit of humour, which never hurts. Lessons will be built on your specific needs: conversation, small talk, discussion on various topics, useful phrases for travel, but also reading, listening, pronunciation and grammar, when needed. I'll correct your mistakes, however I'll always be very careful not to interrupt your speech flow.
