Conversational Italian classes online

I'm a certified teacher and I keep studying and improving my knowledge and abilities in order to do the best as possible for my students. I consider myself as a helpful, patient, resourceful, and caring person. I teach Italian in other platforms too, such as Preply and AmazingTalker. Most of my students are beginners and Spanish-speakers, but I have students of higher level too and from other countries of Europe and Asia. So, I love to face new situations and improve my experience. At the moment I teach to adults only.

I have a certification in teaching Italian to foreigners (DITALS) from the University of Siena and I am also a CELI examinator. I have been teaching Italian for about 6 years to adults from different nationalities in differents countries of the world. I am a calm and patient person, I teach in an informal and relaxed way, I like to listen and I am always in a good mood.

I am really aware of the challenges of learning languages so I will be really patient and encouraging with you. I aim to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere where you’re not afraid of making mistakes. Sono consapevole delle difficoltà dell’impare una lingua nuova quindi sarò molto paziente e ti incoraggerò. Voglio creare un’atmosfera rilassata e informale nella quale tu non abbia paura di fare errori.

Cerco sempre di capire bisogni e interessi dei miei studenti prima di creare un piano di lezioni e dò molta importanza all'uso della lingua, sia parlata che scritta. Sono molto socievole e amo stabilire un rapporto di fiducia con gli studenti. Amo condividere la mia cultura e capire meglio tutte le altre culture. I always try to understand my students's needs and interests before to create a lesson plan and I give a lot of importance to the use of the language, both oral and written. I am very friendly and I love to have a relatonship of trust with my stydents. I love to share my culture and to understand better other cultures.

After graduating in Literature, I perfected my diction by taking part in film dubbing courses, so I can guarantee clear pronunciation without any specific accent. Over the years, I have participated in several linguistic and intercultural exchanges, during which I became passionate about studying and teaching languages. I believe that a conversation with a native speaker is the most effective way to start appreciating a language, understanding its constructs and enriching vocabulary, coming only later to the study of the grammar.

Faccio questo lavoro da due anni e vedere la gente che ogni volta avanza e arriva a raggiungere il suo obiettivo mi da tante soddisfazioni. I started teaching Italian when I wanted to improve my German for work, so when I got paid I used the money to buy new German classes. I found this activity very interesting and fun. It was amazing how many people wanted to learn Italian and learn about Italian culture. Listening to my students improving day after day was really satisfying. I studied a lot of Italian during school, so I know very well what I'm trying to teach you. I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language, and to keep it ''alive”! That's something I'm doing too, so I can help you with all my knowledge.

I'm looking for students of all levels, with all sorts of needs. I can provide a clear introduction on basic Italian grammar and vocabulary as well as deeper insight into them through a communicative approach.

I am an enthusiastic teacher who makes her best to spread positivity and eagerness in learning a new language. It needs to be fun and engaging! I love seeing on people's faces the satisfaction in their expression when they have just nailed something or just realised and absorbed something new. For me it's all about the process. I tend to focus on building a solid foundation, focusing on Italian dialect, grammar, vocabulary and fluency.

I am a qualified English teacher but I have now specialised in teaching Italian as a second language and after two years working in two different private schools (teaching English and Spanish) I have started teaching Italian in an Italian institute in Istanbul. My current job involves not only teaching general Italian but also preparing students who want to take one of the Italian official certifications such as CILS, CELI etc.

As a teacher, I underline the importance of interaction and therefore my classes are student-centered. The goal is to produce meaningful and real communication at all levels. My mission is to help you achieve a confident tone in all aspects in accordance with your needs and wishes. I use different materials in order to diversify vocabulary. That way, you will be able to make jokes with your Italian friends but also engage in topics such as politics, art, work, technology.

Presto attenzione allo studente e alle sue necessità. L’obiettivo dello studente diventa la linea guida della lezione. Assieme allo studente cerco di comprendere le sue necessità e i suoi limiti per superarli. Sono amichevole, voglio che lo studente sia rilassato e si senta libero di esprimersi. Allo stesso tempo non transigo l’errore, la conoscenza corretta della lingua porta a una comunicazione più efficace.

I’m a language learner addicted. I speak English, Spanish and I'm learning Swedish at the moment. Traveling to several countries, I had the luck to meet several polyglots who gave me precious advices to learn languages on my own and that’s what I’m doing for several years. My mission is to transfer my knowledge and my passion for the ones who want to learn Italian (my native language). Thanks to my Psychology- Pedagogy- Sociology studies background and my innate empathy, I will guide you to learn &/or improve this interesting and beautiful language, and... you will learn also gestures! Non amo particolarmente i metodi di insegnamento tradizionali, per questo proverò a rendere il tuo apprendimento un po' più stimolante e originale. Le mie lezioni saranno informali, dinamiche e piene di riferimenti alla cultura e alla società italiana. So quanto sia difficile studiare un'altra lingua! Ecco perché sarò sempre disponibile per chiarimenti, risolvere dubbi e fare pratica con esercitazioni.

I have a PhD in International Studies and I know a lot about Neapolitan and Italian history, society and culture. I have experience both in academic teaching and private tutoring (I have been tutoring both children and teenagers from 9 to 18 years old and universitary students for years). I prefer an interactive and dynamic approach, to be discussed together with the student according to his/her level and his/her needs.

I am a certified teacher (I obtained the DITALS certification from the University for foreigners of Siena) and I have experience with one-to-one lessons both in presence and online, with adults of many nationalities and with teenagers and children. Before that I studied at the Liceo classico (studying Italian literature, Latin and ancient greek language and literature) and then I studied international law at the university of Milan.

Languages can be tricky: grammar, pronunciation and fluency may seem a lot too juggle all at the same time. As a teacher, I can guide you through the maze of language learning, by providing you with clear insights on the differences between your target language and your native one, to achieve fluency and confidence in your vocabulary.

As a language learner, I know from experience that speaking is necessary to learn quickly and effectively. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.
