I like to talk about everything, including current events, history, literature, music, passions and hobbies. Through dialogue I will help to improve the spoken and written Italian language for both beginner and advanced students, teach grammar and correct pronunciation and help students achieve their linguistic goals. I have a Master Degree in teaching Italian and the CELTA certification to teach English, so I can truly understand the differences between the two languages and I can help you avoid translation errors and recognize false friends. I'm a certified teacher and I keep studying and improving my knowledge and abilities in order to do the best as possible for my students. I consider myself as a helpful, patient, resourceful, and caring person. I teach Italian in other platforms too, such as Preply and AmazingTalker. Most of my students are beginners and Spanish-speakers, but I have students of higher level too and from other countries of Europe and Asia. So, I love to face new situations and improve my experience. At the moment I teach to adults only.

As a language learner, I know from experience that speaking is necessary to learn quickly and effectively. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.

I am a certified teacher (I obtained the DITALS certification from the University for foreigners of Siena) and I have experience with one-to-one lessons both in presence and online, with adults of many nationalities and with teenagers and children. Before that I studied at the Liceo classico (studying Italian literature, Latin and ancient greek language and literature) and then I studied international law at the university of Milan.

I am a cheerful person and I try to give joy to my students. I think that learning without realising it is the best way to reach a goal. I know that every single student takes their own time to learn. I am very patient and I always wait for an answer. I think that silence is very important too and is not good to force a student to speak when he or she is not completely self-confident. Mi piace utilizzare un documento condiviso google doc da usare come quaderno degli appunti. Con questo documento possiamo tenere traccia dei progressi dello studente e possiamo incollare articoli, immagini o slide utili per imparare la lingua. Posso conversare su praticamente qualsiasi cosa e utilizzo la conversazione come metodo informale per spiegare grammatica e concetti.

I'm a very patient teacher. During my elementary school teaching experience, I learned patience and understanding are the keys to success. I love my students to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their difficulties - I had to learn languages myself, so I know how challenging it can be. My students would probably also say I like having fun while teaching :) I love teaching adults, but also teenagers and children. I do different works based on the student's level and age.

Ho studiato lingue e letterature straniere all'università di Roma,(inglese , francese) e insegnato l 'italiano come madre lingua a Parigi ,in una scuola privata ad adulti e negli USA ho insegnato principalmente privatamente ad adulti.

Offro lezioni private da molto tempo ed ho avuto l'occasione di lavorare con persone molto diverse.
