I have been a volunteer German tutor since 2017 and have worked with individuals aged 13 and above ranging from beginner to advanced language level. I am also happy to help with exam preparation, and provide guidance on specific tasks and proofread your work (texts, essays etc.) or help with improving your writing style, vocabulary and grammar.

I like to teach beginners (A1 to B1) and help them make their first steps in German or English. I am very patient and supportive, so there is absolutely no need to be nervous. It is your class and we create it as useful and fun as possible for you! I have a 150 hours TESOL certificate and more than 4 years of experience teaching German.

As a passionate Language Teacher and Learner, I worked as a private tutor to teach my foreign friends and cliental Chinese, and at the same time teach my chinese friends German. I am a Person of communicativness and Curiosity , so I often encourage my students to keep practicing from the very beginning, and don't be afraid to make mistakes! The most important factor in my classes is the personal contact to my students, which creates a relaxed and natural conversation. Communicating intensively in the foreign language is essential for the learning process, and here is where we set the focus. With interesting topics and interactive games I am going to take away the fear from speaking and help you to express what flips in your mind. As a second part of my classes, and neither less important, we are going to concentrate on grammar structures, to help you use them naturally from the start in your dialogs.

I've come to teach German more or less automatically, since I have non-german friends who want to learn German. So I'm really used to interact with German-learners and I enjoy it a lot. I'm patient and I can speak slow and clearly. I'm also good in writing different styles of texts like applications, essays or scientific papers.

Learning languages should be fun and for me the best way to improve is to have a real life conversation about topics you like. I believe in positive encouragement rather than strict learning methods! If you enjoy doing something, the result will be good. As a teacher, I take the time to listen to you and to help you with new words. I am calm, patient and very friendly. I try to make the talking as real and relevant as possible.

I like to build long-term relations with my students (some students stay with me for years, which I consider to be the best proof of their satisfaction). However, I also prepare for language exams (which is usually unfortunately shorter cooperation yet also a fruitful one). I also teach kids (I have the most experience with 10+).

I have lots of experience in teaching all ages. I am very patient and friendly and want my student to feel comfortable and enjoy the time with me. A lesson without laughing is a failed lesson.
