I have been teaching German since 2014. I will design the lessons according to your needs. If you would like to improve speaking, we can do conversation classes on topics such as travel, culture, music, art, sports, your job and much more. If you would like to improve your pronunciation and vocabulary, we can read short texts together and discuss them. Ich habe in Bremen über sechs Jahre als eine professionelle und zertifizierte Lehrkraft für Deutsch als Zweitsprache gearbeitet. Durch meine Lehrerfahrungen mit vielen Menschen aus aller Welt habe ich genau verstehen können, wie und womit man am besten deutsche Sprache lernen kann. I like to make the classes student-centered: What do you as a student need to advance? How would you like to spend your lesson? I would like to focus on conversations, reading texts, pronounciation and basic grammar topics. I am still educating myself on grammar topics in the german language.

Since 2007, I have been teaching German as a foreign language in Taipei, Taiwan to Chinese native speakers. Because I had had an interest in the Chinese language and culture for many years, in 2005 I moved to Taiwan to learn Mandarin Chinese. At some point during my stay I had to start looking for work and ended up teaching German at a local language center. Right from the start I loved teaching German and since then have kept on working as a language instructor with a passion, gaining experience over the years and keeping up with improving my skills and expanding my knowledge up to this day.

Before iTalki, I volunteered to teach German and Math to Syrian refugees in refugee camps. It was there that I've discovered that I love teaching. --- I follow my own Teaching Philosophy: My goal is to teach you how to teach yourself a language with the tools I have provided here. As a passionate Language Teacher and Learner, I worked as a private tutor to teach my foreign friends and cliental Chinese, and at the same time teach my chinese friends German. I am a Person of communicativness and Curiosity , so I often encourage my students to keep practicing from the very beginning, and don't be afraid to make mistakes! I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. I hold an MA in International Communication, an MA in Didactics, two BAs in Translating and Interpreting and a CELTA (Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults).

I am a teacher that wants you to think about a language. I want you to understand the structure and how a language works. Memorization is a very inefficient and boring way to learn languages. This will also reflect in my teaching style. I will show you etymological patterns to dissect vocabulary and see where words come from. I am a patient person.
