About 7 years ago I became an English teacher, which gave me skills to teach Croatian language as well. I have become very proficient in teaching through Skype, which is my favorite way to teach. My students are all types of people and age groups. Teaching is my passion in life and I especially enjoy learning about other cultures while I do it. We will talk about subjects that interest you since that is what students remember the best! I'd love to help you discuss your hobbies, job, pets, or favorite books and movies. I'm also here to help you improve your English conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. During conversations, I like to keep the flow going instead of issuing immediate verbal corrections, except for situations where meaning is unclear. It's best to keep things relaxed! I use Google Docs to keep track of these notes. I'm happy to help you with material you're already working on or struggling with, or working together to find material/exercises that will help you.

I am a licensed EFL teacher and specialize in grammar and accent reduction. I've been helping my students prepare for EIKEN ever since I came to Japan. I myself had to take TOEFL iBT back when I was applying to the University of Minnesota and I easily got 110 points which is the equivalent of EIKEN 1. If you are preparing for either EIKEN or TOEFL, I have the materials, qualifications, and experience necessary to help you succeed.

I have tutored before at several levels - from absolute beginner to business English, both children and adults. I have taught for around 4 years in total, to native speakers of all mother tongues. My method for language learning is not focused on memorising grammar, but rather on making language learning fun.
