In my class I offer different types of lessons and all of these are tailored according to your needs. So just till me about your goals and we can start from there. During the class we can read articles, have a dialogue practice and talk about a certain topic. We can also just talk freely about anything under the sun. The best way to learn a language is to put it in practice so I expect you, the student to speak more in class. I believe this is very effective for you to be more confident in speaking. I also make sure that in each and every class it will be fun and instructive.

I am a British English tutor. I have a few years experience teaching English and a TEFL certificate. I understand the difficulties of learning a new language, as I am trying to learn Spanish and German at the moment.

I am not a professional English teacher, so I am not qualified to actually TEACH English/Spanish/Catalan, but I can help you/your child PRACTICE. I do not have any teaching materials (workbooks or exercise books). Any readings we do in class, the student should find for themselves. But working with me (a native speaker) will help you improve your speaking, writing and reading skills in an informal and casual way!

I became an English Teacher about 7 years ago and since then I`ve fallen in love with teaching. For me, language lessons are a path to making dreams come true and I try to inspire my students and make them want to learn more each time. I`m enthusiastic and patient.

I always plan my lesson in a way that addresses the various needs and different learning styles of my students. I am a creative teacher who likes to make her own materials and activities that would be fun and engaging.

I have 5 years experience teaching English (formal classroom setting): 2 years in Mongolia teaching children and 3 years at a university in South Korea teaching university students.

As a tutor in languages I really try to think through and evaluate on what my goals and priorities are in the classroom. I believe the most relevant aspects that I want to bring to my students are calming and judgmental-free atmosphere where student can feel comfortable to talk and let the chatter flow guilelessly, and also to motivate and help them through the obstacles in the language terminology and speech.

I take a more relaxed and fun approach in teaching English. I generally guide students to the answer and wait patiently for them to figure out the answers for themselves. Of course, I help when necessary and support the student when learning.

I have over 20 years' experience teaching and I specialize in oral communication skills. My conversation lessons aim to make you more comfortable listening and speaking. I will speak more slowly and more clearly, and suggest free online resources to practice more. My classes are fun and relaxed! I also offer a new story-based class format for beginners.

I really enjoy meeting new people and help them to learn a new language. The main thing in learning is speaking practice so that you can do it confidently!

I started teaching English during my university days in 2002. Since then I have taught thousands of students from all over the world. I have experience of teaching people from many different countries, age groups, and professions. I specialise in teaching English to adults. I work Monday to Friday as a full-time teacher, so my availability to teach on iTalki is likely to be limited to weekends. I am TEFL certified and have taught students from elementary school level up to college to working adults. My ultimate goal is to have students leave class each day knowing that they will use the knowledge that they have gained almost immediately, in many different types of settings. In order to develop a lesson plan, I make it known that I am to learn from my students as opposed to simply teaching. I have worked with students from just about every continent on Earth and look forward to working with many more.

The most important aspect of lessons is TALKING (and consequentially listening) - I want you to talk, to learn to think in English. It's not practice that makes perfect, but *perfect* practice that makes perfect, which is why I'll be there every step of the way guiding your improvement.

I am a fun and outgoing person, and I like to bring that energy into my teaching. Learning something new should be fun and exciting, and that is how I want my students to feel about whatever they are learning.

My goal is to encourage creativity and high order thinking ,in a way that increases a students performance. Developing professional skills of teaching students of every age by providing work based learning. As a teacher ,I would like to utilize my lively and energetic attitude in teaching students with great enthusiasm.

I have experience in teaching people of all age groups. I have taught online for the past year at Itutorgroup. I enjoy meeting people and interacting with people from all over the world and of all ages. Teaching someone a new language also helps me learn something new about their culture, country and many other things.

I understand how difficult it can be to learn another language as I too enjoy learning languages. I have been studying languages ever since my time at secondary school where I initially learnt French and German. I have also spent time learning Spanish, Italian and Polish. More recently I have learnt some Japanese and am now studying Mandarin which I'm finding very challenging.
