I began teaching online in 2016 and over the years have taught English-learners of all abilities from all over the world; including Asia, Europe, Africa and South America. Teaching students in many countries is a daily inspiration for me - I love teaching and meeting new people! I am fascinated to learn about different places, while helping improve your English and also teaching you more about UK life.

I’ve been teaching English to non-native speakers since 2015. My students have come from many different countries and cultures. Different students have different challenges with pronunciation and understanding. Different students have different goals. I understand that and I adapt accordingly and put the focus where it is needed. I have experience teaching at all levels and from age 6 years upwards. I am fortunate to be a native English speaker and enjoy helping others improve their English skills. Teaching is also an excellent way to exchange cultures and ideas. I know learning another language isn’t easy and I promise to be patient and honest with you.

I love to work with people and have been a music teacher for many years. I have also taught English classes to students of various ages. I am bilingual and understand the challenges of learning a new language as I am also schooled in German. My aim is to help my students to become confident in using the language they are learning and to be comfortable with it knowing their listeners can understand them.

I have worked as a teacher for the past three years while developing my teaching skills through the completion of an MATESOL and enrolling in a doctoral degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have enjoyed working with a variety of ages, from children to adults. In addition to my master's degree, I also hold a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts (Grades 5-12) and have worked with the board of education in Japan for the past year. My top priority as an instructor is to see you grow, developing the skills you need to achieve your success.

It is important for me to understand your goals so that I can plan and structure our lessons to help you achieve them. As a teacher I love to see my students grow and improve.

While I think that we are responsible for our own learning, I also know that a good teacher can make all the difference at crucial points in the process. Considero que el idioma debe de adoptarse, por lo que considero la conversación, la mejor manera de adoptar vocabulario y corregir gramática. Me gusta adaptarme a las necesidades de mis alumnos y con base a ello, ayudarte con revisión gramatical y con ejercicios que te ayuden a mejorar en el idioma. I’m a very patient person, who focuses on details. I believe that the language must be adopted, as I consider that the conversation is the best way to adopt the vocabulary and to correct grammar. I like to adapt my class to my students' needs, helping them with grammar review and exercises that can help them to improve in the language.

I'm a constant language learner myself, currently learning my fifth language. Sharing my knowledge with others gives so much meaning to what I'm doing, I totally love it. Fifteen years of actively using English within various contexts (10 years at the London School of English, studying abroad, making friends all over the world) gave me the confidence to teach. I've been teaching privately for over a year, now I want to reach even more of you beautiful people at the different corners of our planet.

I was a late learner with foreign language because I was told it was not something I was capable of, but eventually I stopped listening to everyone else and found that I could indeed learn and it was just a matter of approach and style. I have since helped friends improve their language skills here in Buenos Aires by showing them that language isn't all about grammar and rules, yes thats important, but I found that talking, and using real world examples are key. Once I figured this out I was excited to start sharing this with others.

I would describe my teaching style as very interactive. I prefer to create a teaching environment that encourages critical thinking and elicits responses from my students rather than having them merely retain and repeat information. I make use of different websites and encourage my students to read to improve both vocabulary and fluency.

I like to create an atmosphere where 'mistakes' are not something to be afraid of , but are viewed as a chance to improve. I enjoy a relaxed learning environment but I am comfortable with pointing out ways people can enhance their English skills and will do it in a constructive way. I believe building relationships and getting to know students likes and dislikes is key to a good series of lessons and I will use teaching strategies that have worked for me as a teacher and a learner in the past.

I am kind, approachable, and understanding. I have a lot of respect for students who sign up for lessons, as I know it can be intimidating and hard work. I will correct your mistakes, and look for patterns, or areas of growth for you to improve on. I have years of experience teaching people as young as 3 years old up to adulthood; online and in a classroom. I have been on italki community since 2012 as a teacher and a student. I have taught both English and French as second languages in Canada and abroad.

I've been tutoring business related classes in English and Spanish for almost 2 years at university level. My focus has been on accounting and finance. Therefore, I am very well prepared to teach you business Spanish or English. I want to take the opportunity that Italki offers to connect with people from around the world that are interesting in learning Spanish and about South American culture. I can teach you grammar, sentence structuring, the differences in accent and dialect that exist between Spanish speaking countries. As I am fluent in English and French, your level of Spanish is not a problem as I will be able to communicate with you in a common language.

The most important thing for me as a teacher is the progress of the students I am working with. The learning is always the priority, so I make sure that my lessons are set up with this in mind..For me, it´s important that the lessons are fun and engaging, as I think this helps people to learn more naturally. Keeping a sense a humor can help learners to negotiate tricky new skills and concepts without getting to stressed out or worried in the process. Despite this, I am very serious about teaching as it´s so important for me that my students do the very best that they can. I am organized and plan all the lessons and I am creative in my approach, adapting to different peoples learning styles.

I have successfully delivered courses of English as a foreign language in very challenging situations. I can teach students at all levels. My experience and background are a perfect fit for professionals, qualified workers, technicians, engineers, commercial and marketing experts, politicians, administrators, academics and managers who want to improve their English language skills.

I am graduated from UAEM, which is the most important University in the state where I live, and even before I finished my bachelor’s degree, I started to teach English in two primary schools. After that, I’ve taught kids, preteens, young adults and adults. I've given General English from very beginner students up to upper intermediate students. On the other hand, I also have experience helping graduated students to write their academic texts in English and Spanish. In addition, I have given reading comprehension courses to students in order to pass their reading exams in their universities (in English and Spanish) Currently I continue working as a teacher.

While I have no teaching credentials, I have great experience interacting with a lot of different people from various countries around the world. I know how to study foreign languages and can probably teach you how to learn a language more efficiently. As a tutor I can only show you the door to betterment; you must enter the door yourself.
