I'm a CELTA/ DELTA qualified English teacher with over 8 years of experience. I have worked in different roles and countries. I have summarised my experience below: * Brazil - English teacher - Teaching groups from beginners to upper-intermediate * Mexico - English teacher / Director of studies - Preparing students for IELTS, General English from A1 to C1, Preparing teachers for TKT and training teachers. * Moldova - Senior teacher - Teaching students from A1 - C1 and training teachers * Ukraine - Assistant Director - Teaching students A1 to C1, training teachers and preparing students for Cambridge exams. * England - English teacher - Teaching groups of beginners and online teaching.

During secondary school I taught many younger students subjects such as English Literature, German, Economics, History and Music Theory. Such experience allowed me to familiarise myself with the subtle skill of teaching - a skill which I will likely be learning far into the future. I have since completed both a 168 hour English Teaching diploma with the International TEFL Academy and an additional 30 hour course which specialises in how to teach English online. In June 2020, I graduated secondary school among the highest academic achievers in Ireland. Please note: I DO NOT teach students under 13 OR anyone who has below A2 English. As a teacher, I am very patient, relaxed and encouraging. I do my best to be professional in my classes with that extra personal care. Depending on the level and the age of the student, my body gestures and physical responses make the students feel active and focused on my lessons. I love sharing my ideas and opinions but I am also a good listener, open to what the students might want to share. That's why I also find satisfaction in stimulating conversations. I can also be very funny and I laugh a lot, even if there is nothing to laugh about. I am just a happy teacher and I hope I can make my students happy as well.

I aim to be friendly and helpful in my lessons. I hope that you will enjoy the lesson while your English improves. I am an experienced teacher and I always try to make my lessons varied and interesting. I will help to develop your fluency and communication skills; at the same time I'll work to identify particular areas of your English to improve together through error correction and more focussed exercises. Just a quick note - I don't have teaching materials for children so if you are looking for a tutor for a child please find someone who is more of a specialist in teaching children.

I studied for 5 years at the University of the Witwatersrand where I received my Bachelors degree with Honours in Education. My specializations have geared me in the following ways: Foundation Phase Teaching - I am able to start teaching from the very basic levels of the English language to much more advanced levels. Online Teaching and Learning - I know exactly how to structure my lessons within an online environment for optimal benefit to my students. Development of Online Materials - I can fully develop my own teaching and learning materials which I will use during my lessons. I am very patient and understanding. We learn best from our mistakes, so don't be afraid to make them.

I studied Germanistic at the university in Kiev. Since 2010 I teach German and English and since 2016 Russian online. Some years ago I gained the experience teaching in private for max. 12 students. Lately I mostly give individual and also group lessons for max. 3 students online. I consider this way of teaching also efficient and meaningful.

I became a teacher when I came back to Brazil in 2014. At the same time I started teaching, I took my TESOL course and I’ve been teaching privately ever since. I really appreciate students who are independent and aren't afraid to step out of their comfort zone and learn with their own mistakes. And forget what you've heard about learning a second language being difficult as an adult. If you maintain consistency in your studies, you will reach fluency. I started speaking English when I was 30 and I became proficient not long after. If I was able to achieve this as an adult, you can as well.

I started tutoring Spanish as a teenager. After university, I tutored English and Spanish, and then taught Spanish at a university before taking a break to raise my kids. I earned my degree in Education (with a focus on online learning and the adult learner), and earned my CELTA certificate in order to teach English full time. I love teaching English because I love languages and the process of learning them, and would like to help my students reach their goals in language learning.

I have a master degree in Education. I'm a professional Russian and English teacher. I've been teaching teenagers and adults for seven years.

After graduating from university, I decided that I wanted to study Mandarin Chinese, and since my community is so small, I became frustrated since I didn't have access to in-person classes or an in-person tutor to help me progress.. I came across Italki and signed up for my first lessons as a student. I enjoyed my lessons and wanted to be able to help to students who are wanting to learn English. For that reason, I became an Italki teacher in early 2014 and have been teaching ever since.

I'm an English language graduate and a certified teacher, and therefore can assist you on your learning process and instruct you to prepare for you exams. I taught English in private lessons, I began semester with students and ended them with preparing for their exams, and also helped learners of Arabic in Turkey on preparing for tests. Teaching Arabic came along in 2010 when I gave voluntary lessons for students of cultural exchange in the Higher Institute for Languages. Over a period of 7 years, I have lived in Guatemala, Honduras and Brazil and interacted daily with the people in their native tongues of either Spanish or Portuguese. I have also gone into 9 other Latin American countries and worked with the people. For many years, I have served as an interpreter between the three languages. I read and write in Spanish and Portuguese with great ease. My goal is to get you quickly speaking in your new language, Practice is most important in achieving foreign language fluency. I've lived internationally for a while and I've enjoyed making so many new friends and being able to help them improve their English.
