About Me

italki teacher since Feb 10, 2021

I'm a Native English speaker living in the Lake District National Park in the North of England. I enjoy travel, extreme sports, wild swimming, studying languages and spending time with friends and family. I love to try brand new experiences and can find a genuine interest in most things.

Me as a Teacher

I like to utilize lots of different methods and activities during my classes and I have a dynamic approach to how I teach. I believe that every student responds to different methods and I enjoy working together with each individual to meet their needs. I understand the challenges and difficulties that you may have as I am currently learning Spanish so I'm naturally empathetic.

My lessons & teaching style

I'm an open, friendly teacher, I try to ensure that there's a combination of grammar and vocabulary with a strong focus on conversations in my lessons, to improve both fluency and accuracy. I also believe that the student can be a driving force in how they learn, and I encourage them to take charge of their own goals with myself as a guide.
