My purpose is that you can practice speaking the language as much as possible during the lesson. We will focus on your most relevant needs through guided conversations and consequently through specific vocabulary or grammar exercises to get you confident to express yourself in a natural way.

For our lessons I’ll choose among a selection of textbooks written by professional authors. The choice will be based on many factors: your current level, your native language and its distance from the target language, your goals and learning style. If you need to reinforce some topics I’ll add extra activities to the lessons or as homework. Homework is not compulsory, but please keep in mind that learning a language is fun and effective only when both the student and the teacher put some effort into it. I’m very happy to teach students with different needs, from beginners who have never learned a second language to advanced students who are looking for serious, structured teaching.

My classes are focussed on speaking - we can use different materials to inspire you. I have the following qualifications: - Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish (University of Manchester, 2007; classification 2.1) - CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults; accredited by the University of Cambridge) - PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) - Modern Languages (University of East Anglia, UK) - 1 year's experience teaching foreign students English conversation - 2 years' experience as a high school languages teacher in the UK

I have been a teacher for 5 years and have experience teaching IELTS classes and both BEC higher and BEC vantage classes. I have also taught all general English levels from A0 to C2.

Ever since I graduated from university, I've worked as a foreign language teacher. I've provided private tuition and have worked for several companies and town councils, which led me to specialize in adult teaching. That's why I resolved to sign up for the Spanish Ministry of Labour's official adult teaching course back in 2017. My students belong to a variety of different professional backgrounds, especially workers of the tourist sector and shop assistants.

On italki I have had the pleasure of working with many students to practise and improve their English. Some of these have just been relaxed chats and some have been a little more structured preparation for English exams. From time to time I have helped students to review and edit written work for university assignments, presentations etc. I have received a great deal of training in phonics and the teaching of reading and writing, and have a lot of experience teaching grammar.

I hold a TEFL certificate from UC San Diego California as well as a Teaching English Grammar (TEG). Cureently working on my IELTS preparation certification. I have also been a conversation leader for international students in San Diego, California. I have been teaching both face to face and online, now more so than before for obvious reasons. I like to be able to help students enjoy their language learning journey as much as I did when learning a new language.

I love teaching different things such as languages, archery or rifle shooting, Zumba, dance lessons and much more. I focus on everyday English, culture of the English speaking world, English for specific purposes and have taught international university students in the US, with a focus on essay writing. I taught in France at university level (literature, creative writing, Anglophone media). Most recently, I have taught communicative English, IELTS preparation, Business English for corporate classes, including one-to-one lessons. I came to foreign language teaching as a foreign language student (speaking Spanish as a child at home and school) and starting French as a complete beginner at 17 in Quebec. These experiences made me aware of how language could facilitate travel and cultural exchange.

I believe that in order to learn a language you need to speak as much as possible with someone supportive and patient. That's me! I also believe that language learning has to be fun and I can help you to speak and learn English the way it is actually spoken (not textbook English). I am happy to help you achieve your goals in a natural, relaxed and informal way.

I see the ideal teaching session as a conversation. I make sure all my students know they are in an environment where they can practice their English and improve it without fear of being judged. I teach by example, and will spend the first session getting to know you so I know what makes you thrive as an English or German learner.

I have experience of teaching English in Ecuador I have taught Swedish with the Nordic Society at University College London (UCL). I enjoy teaching languages primarily because of the lovely people I get to met along the way. I love sharing my passion for reading and for great films with my students. Other people's curiosities invite me to explore new fields so that I can be a bridge for them.

I have been a teacher for six years and have worked with university, high school, and elementary students, as well as working professionals and adults. I love working with students to help them get ready for university or college, or for a new career opportunity. Whether that be preparing for a test like IELTS or TOEFL, or getting ready for an interview, I am here for you to make sure that you will not only succeed, but you will excel. I am a licensed EFL teacher and specialize in grammar and accent reduction. I've been helping my students prepare for EIKEN ever since I came to Japan. I myself had to take TOEFL iBT back when I was applying to the University of Minnesota and I easily got 110 points which is the equivalent of EIKEN 1. If you are preparing for either EIKEN or TOEFL, I have the materials, qualifications, and experience necessary to help you succeed.

All my lessons are professionally developed according to the CERF standards and were officially approved by Institut Francais, Cambridge ESOL and Duolingo for test preparation and general learning. I can use EN, RU, AR, UA and French for teaching, depending on your level and native language. I am dynamic and I understand that every person is different than one another; so I always base my teaching fundamentals according to that principle. In this way, the more I understand the person I am working with, the more it becomes easier to explain things . I teach with a calm nature. Finding difficulties and discovering the weaker areas of students aids me in helping them more successfully. I am a motivational speaker. Therefore, even if a student might feel lazy or discouraged, I have the ability to spark the energy within them.

I'm an active member of the NGO in Ukraine, which provides non-formal ways of education to the young people willing to change the world. The whole year we travel and teach about Critical thinking,human rights and many more important things in English. Also, during my European Volunteering Servise in the Czech Republic I was teaching my co-workers and the kids English and Russian.
