I have been a teacher for 5 years and have experience teaching IELTS classes and both BEC higher and BEC vantage classes. I have also taught all general English levels from A0 to C2. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are very student centred with a communicative approach. I have a very patient style and like to make the lessons personalised for the students. I like to make students feel comfortable and accepted in their surroudnings so they are confident to experiment with the language and push themselves and each other. I like to promote peer-correction and student autonomy.
I like to use a test, teach, test approach and use a range of timelines when presenting grammar.Certificates

Bachelor’s - English Literature BA HonsI studied a variety of subjects here from American literature, 20th Century literature through to Creative Writing. This helped me learn more about essay structure which I could pass on to my IELTS and BEC classes.
Work Experience

English Language TeacherI taught IELTS and BEC classes as well as all levels of General English from Beginners to Proficiency. I have also delivered two Continued Professional Development talks. The first one about using the white board in the classroom and the second about building student rapport.
My teaching style is very calm and patient and keeping it communicative.
I have taught using NEF, Outcomes, Face2Face, Mindset for IELTS and Business Benchmark.

Mark was very friendly, payed attention for all mistakes i did, it was just a trial for 30 minutes but I'm now excited to take the next step for frequent lessons with him.
