My name is Heidi and I'm from Belgium. My native language is Dutch with a Flemish accent. First of all I am learning Italian, because in 2020 I moved to Italy with my husband. We only had 5 months to learn Italian, but we did it! I'd love to share with you my tricks and tools to learn a new language in such a short amount of time. Next to Italian I am learning Arabic, because my parents-in-law are from Syria. Every time we visit them they speak Arabic. Further, in Belgium, they teach you French and German in school, in which I can have basic conversations. In my spare time I love learning new languages, but I also like to cook, bake, play chess and read the Bible.
