About Me

My name is Irma. I am a social, energetic and positive-thinking person with experience in many different fields, from working with an NGO to logistics and from translator to Dutch teacher for foreigners. With empathy and a healthy dose of humor, I get the best out of myself and others. My interest in languages has grown strongly in recent years. This is mostly because I became multilingual. I master Dutch, Spanish and English on a professional level. This has made me aware that mastering a language opens doors for you all around the world. I love to help other to master other languages as well.

Me as a Teacher

I really enjoy helping others with their struggles to learn another language. I am patient and will correct your mistakes in a proper way. I will be able to help you out while learning Dutch or Spanish and explain you all the ins and outs of the language. I also like to talk and teach about the many different cultures.

My lessons & teaching style

I don't use a specific methodology, because I rather create personalized lessons for my students. I like to use current Internet tools to provide the necessary elements to learn the Dutch or Spanish language; we will create a suitable and personalized plan to make sure you can learn in a practical and simple way.
