About Me

Hi, my name is Ellen and I´m 34 years old. After travelling in South America for almost two years I am now back in my home country, the Netherlands! I teach Dutch, but I also speak English (I have a TEFL certificate) and Spanish. Learning languages has opened up my world and because of that I would love to share this knowledge. Apart from languages and travelling, I´m very passionate about singing, yoga and nature. Looking forward to helping you improve your Dutch! Hola, soy Ellen y tengo 34 años. Me as a Teacher

I´ve started teaching on Italki in 2019 and I always try to create a relaxed atmosphere during my classes. There is no such thing as making mistakes, it is all part of the learning process. Students often say that I am patient and easy going. I have experience in teaching students from many different ages (17-67) and different levels (A0- C1), so everybody is welcome! Empecé a enseñar en Italki en 2019, y siempre trato de crear un ambiente relajado durante mis clases. No existen los errores, todo es parte del aprendizaje. Los estudiantes a menudo dicen que soy paciente y fácil de tratar. Tengo experiencia en enseñar a estudiantes de diferentes edades (17-67) y diferentes niveles (A0-C1).

My lessons & teaching style

My classes are informal and fun. I can help you with, for example, conversational Dutch, having real life conversations. However, I am flexible and will adapt the classes to whatever subject you are interested in learning. Mis clases son informales y divertidos. Te puedo ayudar con conversaciones de la vida real. Soy flexible, las clases se adaptan a tus necesidades y intereses.
