About Me

Hello everyone, My name is Lucy and Dutch here on iTalki. I've been an online Dutch-teacher for over 2 years now and I can really say I love my job! The connection with people from all over the world and being able to help people reaching their language-goals feels amazing! Dutch is my native language, then comes English and I also learned to speak Swedish from a young age. In school I learned to speak a bit of French, German and Spanish. At the moment I'm learning a new language my self, because I like to learn something new everyday.

Me as a Teacher

I'd love to teach people a new skill. In this case: DUTCH.. Having a conversational lesson in Dutch, grammar or helping you prepare an exam, it's all possible. I will prepare the lesson according to your needs. I am an easy-going person and I am very patient. Check out my availability or send me a message so we can set up a lesson-plan together. Het was mijn derde les met Loes. Als altijd ging het prima. Ik moet zeggen dat het voor mij heel echt gemakkelijk is om met haar te praten. Tijdens de les werd veel gelachen en de sfeer was echt gezellig, ik kon dus heel gemakkelijk en gerust praten, het voelde bijna alsof ik in mijn moedertaal pratte. Nogmaals bedankt voor de les.

Ik zocht iemand met wie ik mijn spreekvaardigheid kon verbeteren. Ik heb dus met Lucy contact opgezocht op italki. Ze bleek vriendelijk, behulpzaam en enthousiast te zijn. Gedurende de 30 minuten proefles we hadden geen moeiten om aan conversatieonderwerpen te komen; toen ik niet wist waarover te praten wist Lucy me te leiden waar ik iets had te zegen. Hartelijk aanbevolen!
