About Me

My first teaching experience (2010) was as a French volunteer in Morocco. 2010 was also the year I started studying at the university of Ghent, Belgium. During my Bachelor's, I went to study at the university of Córdoba, Spain, to improve my Spanish to a C2-level. In July 2015, I obtained my Master in Communication in French, Spanish, Dutch and English and I participated in language camps as a French teacher. In October 2017, I started my travels, began to give private classes, volunteered as an English professor and obtained my TEFL-certificate (2018). In June 2018, I officially became a professional teacher on italki and in January 2021, I obtained my ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera). My lessons & teaching style
I try to make my lessons as student-centered as possible: I want you to find out the grammar rule or the new vocabulary. This makes a lesson not only interactive, it also helps to improve your knowledge and gives me the opportunity to give you constant feedback. Grammar may not be the most attractive word in the world, but I learned how to make a grammar class fun and constructive!

Executive SecretaryIn October 2018, I came back to Belgium and I combined my passion for online teaching with a full-time job as the executive secretary for the Marketing Director and the BP-team for half a year. In May 2019, I started traveling again.
2018 - 2021
Online TeacherIn May 2019, I flew back to South-America, started my travels in Brasil and Mexico and became a full-time online teacher on italki. I teach my native language (Dutch), English and Spanish.
