When I was in my junior year of college, I did my volunteering as an English teacher for children in the rural area of Thailand for 2 months, Sisaket province to be specific. After I graduated from college, I used to work as a teaching assistant for native English teachers and myself as well as teaching English for Vietnamese children for 2 years. I have been enjoying teaching people the languages that I know and I have gained many experiences from those years.

I started working as a Vietnamese and English tutor since early September last year, it has been an interesting, and wonderful experience to me personally. While helping an Australian friend study Vietnamese, I accidentally found out about my ability in teaching Languages, with the encouragement of my friend, the journey of me becoming a tutor began! I have seen myself having great passion in languages since I'm studying to become a translator and interpreter now. Always appreciate it to have a chance to introduce Vietnamese to everyone, especially to ones who are living here in the moment, so you can apply it usefully while interacting with local people, and making new local friends!

That desire motivated me to be Vietnamese community tutor to share Vietnamese language toward more effective communication for whom are struggling with this language. Besides, I used to work in the international non-governmental organization where I had a great deal of foreign co-workers; working with them, helping them to adapt and learn Vietnamese help me to comprehend their difficulties to learn Vietnamese very well. Also, I personally think that the lessons between tutors and students are just conducted effectively once the tutors understand their students’ problem deeply and help them solve that problem.

I have been teaching English and Vietnamese for 2 years. I love teaching languages individually because I can clearly see my students' improvement, which is my core motivation.

I've been teaching Vietnamese for over a year for both online and offline. My students come from many countries. Europe, America and Asia as well. Most of them are working people. However, I also have experience teaching kids in Vietnam, because I have also taught about 4-5 years for kids. I focus on teaching Vietnamese with the northern accent. However, during the teaching process, I also provide different vocabulary in different regions and some special different in pronunciation between the North and the South. I have been doing the tour guiding job for 3 years and come to realise that Language is a part of culture so being a local guide helps me acknowledge that sometimes the indigenous language at a spot we visit is overlooked. I really want more and more realise the significant role of languages to our life. Therefore, I decided to start learning different languages as much as I could. I got it all the glories and pain we got to master a language. Best of all, I was majoring in linguistics at uni so I believe I am the one whom you might be interested in getting a glimpse of Vietnamese from.
