I'm a Spanish and Italian teacher and I have experience in language teaching at the Third Age University and I give private lessons. I'm also an examiner for the DELE Spanish diploma, certified by the Cervantes Institute in Rome.

As a teacher I always try to create a fun and safe environment where you can feel confident enough to learn. I like to get to know my students so I can use different strategies for you to learn. I have the TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certification from the University of Cambridge and I have experience working with kids, teens and adults.

As mentioned, I believe having a native grasp in both English and Spanish is an advantage. It allows me to easily translate idiomatic concepts and expressions that don’t have literal equivalent from one language to the other. I can draw meaning from my native understanding of both languages (and my experience in using both in daily life) to find the right examples and the closest translations from the source to the target language. I studied linguistics and, even though it is generally not required for a language teacher to be trained in linguistics, there is a growing number of experts in the community who believe it's a huge plus. I've drawn countless knowledge from it to teach.

Actualmente me dedico a dar clases privadas con mi red de alumnos (adultos) y tengo un par de horas en una escuela en India (ahí doy clases para niños). Me preocupo mucho por el aprendizaje de mis alumnos, sus gustos y sus necesidades, siempre buscando materiales adecuados e interesantes para cada uno. Disfruto mucho enseñar mi propia lengua, por supuesto aprender de mis alumnos, y compartir e intercambiar situaciones culturales con mis alumnos.

I started teaching Spanish in my travels in Europe, exchanging classes for accommodation and the experience was so good that I decided to become a teacher. With time, I perfected myself and today I dedicate exclusively to my passions: writing, traveling and teaching Spanish. For 5 years I have been teaching private Spanish in person and online to foreigners living in Buenos Aires, people who came for pleasure or to study and need to learn Spanish and take the DELE exams to enter the University.

As a tutor I focus on conducting a pleasant class for my students to feel comfortable and confident when speaking Spanish and thus make the most of the time in a pleasant way and focus on improving the weak points of my students when speaking Spanish. If your desire is to improve your fluency, we will talk about any topic of conversation, I also offer support material for all my students to continue their learning in their free time and also help my students with their grammar.

When I was young, some of my favorite subjects in school were languages. I always found English or French class time exciting, I was always looking forward to these classes. Other great experiences in my youth where when a friend from another country would come to visit and we would share our language knowledge. It was fun. Now, I'm very excited to share what I know today.

A raíz de esto, descubrí mi pasión por estar en contacto con personas de todo el mundo y por ayudarles en su aprendizaje de un idioma tan bonito como el español. Me considero una persona paciente, curiosa y simpática, que intentará sacar lo mejor de ti en cada clase. Intento que las clases sean dinámicas y divertidas para que el alumno disfrute de cada lección. Asimismo, puedo enseñarte vocabulario relacionado con la psicología si este campo fuera de tu interés. Hablo inglés e italiano de manera fluida, y mi reto actual es el estudio del japonés.

I've been teaching languages online to students from different countries. This has helped me learn how to make the language learning process more efficient. I have put together a plan with structured lessons that will help students understand the language they're learning in more depth.

Para mí, es importante generar un clima de confianza y un ambiente relajado durante las clases para que la inmersión con el idioma sea positiva y productiva. From our first lesson we will work setting short and long-term goals, knowledge will be progressive so that what we learn we will use in the following lessons. We will work with homework every week, pronunciation, listening and we will find the ideal methodology for you because I understand that not all of us learn in the same way or at the same rate. My career in The Psychology of Teaching has allowed me to learn that each student has his specific way of learning, his own rhythm and his particular strengths, therefore, as a teacher, I feel the responsibility to adapt to the needs of each student. I've 5 years of teaching experience and I like it a lot. I love talk and work hard to find your weakness and help you to impruve on it.
