I´m a Spanish teacher specialize in advance speakers. I´m certificated as Spanish teacher by the Cervantes Institute and as Official Examiner of the level C1- C2 DELE Exam´s. I have a particular style as I teach Spanish through newspapers, literature, ted talks and other original resources. I also specialize in a specific way of teaching grammar: cognitive grammar. With that course, I teach you to think like a native speaker. I just work with 10 students each time (maximum of 5 class per day) so I ensure that I have the energy needed to fulfil its expectations.

As a language learner (of many years, may I say!) I fully understand the challenges that come with learning a foreign language, and will use my experience to make yours as enjoyable as possible. Growing up with competent teachers and mentors, I've been exposed to high quality teaching and a great deal of teaching methods. He tenido la oportunidad de enseñar inglés de manera presencial a diferentes personas que me lo han pedido y he tenido la satisfacción de saber que he logrado que muchas de ellas se sientan cómodas con el idioma y descubran su potencial y mejoren sus habilidades. Igualmente, he viajado a diferentes países y he experimentado enseñar español a personas que nunca han tenido un acercamiento con este idioma. Al tener la facilidad de comunicarme en ambos idiomas, puedo explicar tanto inglés como en español, o viceversa, todo según las necesidades del estudiante.

Me gusta mucho enseñar, soy muy paciente, comprensiva y creativa. También me gusta mucho jugar. Mi experiencia como profesora presencial ha sido enseñando artes plásticas en escuelas y otros espacios informales, como voluntaria. He trabajado con niños desde los 6 años, y con jóvenes hasta 17 años. También he tenido experiencias enseñando artes a adultos. My experience as a classroom teacher has been teaching fine arts in schools and other informal spaces, as a volunteer. I have worked with children, with young people and also with adults.

I have more than ten years of experience teaching Spanish both at university and at secondary level. I hold Qualified Teacher Status in modern foreign languages and I also have a MA with distinction in English studies. Teaching language has given me the privilege to inspire my students to look at the world with different eyes, and to be the facilitator of the invaluable skill that it is to learn a different language. During my career I have successfully influenced many people’s lives; some of my students have become language teachers themselves and others have relocated to Spanish speaking countries.

El español siempre me ha interesado mucho. Vivir en diferentes países y tener que traducirme para que la gente me entendiera, aunque habláramos la misma lengua, me fascinaba. Por eso estudié la carrera de Filología Hispánica en la Universidad de Salamanca. Cuando terminé hice un master de Literatura española e hispanoamericana, y después estudié otro master de traducción en la Universidad de Málaga. Este cariño por el español me ha impulsado a enseñarlo a más personas, y por eso estoy aquí.

Je suis professeur d’espagnol et de français avec une expérience de plus de 5 ans dans l'enseignement des langues étrangères. Suite à mes 3 ans de travail à l'Alliance française j'ai acquis une forte expérience dans l'enseignement du FLE aux adultes et aux enfants. L'année passée dans deux lycées à Lille, France, a renforcé mon expérience comme professeur de langue et a élargi mon horizon professionnel notamment, dans l'enseignement du français et de l'espagnol à distance.

I'm very patient as I know what learning a new language is like. What I want, is that you feel free to make mistakes while you practice so we can learn from them and improve on those areas. I found that if you are not making mistakes when learning a new language, you are not actually learning.

Como profesora me considero una persona muy paciente, divertida y amigable. Mi objetivo es que mis estudiantes aprendan mucho y practiquen el idioma en cada clase. Disfruto mucho enseñar tanto a niños como a adultos. Creo que cada estudiante es diferente y es por eso que cada una de mis clases es planeada de acuerdo al nivel, necesidad y objetivo de cada estudiante. As a teacher I am patient, friendly and fun. My goal is to encourage my students to speak Spanish in each lesson and to keep them motivated. I enjoy teaching children as much as I do teaching adults. I plan every lesson according to the level, need and goal of each student.

I know very well the difficulties of learning a new language, and how that affects every student in a different way, that's way I prepare each of my lessons, making them both fun and very educational; mixing conversational, grammar and practical approaches, always tailoring them to your needs and preferences. I have much experience teaching from the very basics and also preparing students for their DELE/SIELE exams. I can teach you a neutral type of Spanish which you could use anywhere (remember there are more than 20 countries and 400 million Spanish speakers in the world), or also teach you the specific Chilean dialect if you need it, as it can be one of the hardest to learn among all.

I have been teaching face to face lessons since 2012 and on italki since 2015. I have taught people from all levels and backgrounds.
