My Mom was a teacher and whes I was a Kid I would be like her one day! I Worked in HR for about 8 years in Brasil , most of the time Training people and I love Teaching. I decided to go to New Zealand to learn english wiha eas amazing, and through this experience I could learn english and spanish and I decided to come back home for a while. Then I thought : why not help people to learn portuguese ( My Native Language) or english? So I started with private classes ( all levels, general English and professional english like Business staff) .

I have taught students of all ages from different countries - Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, Germany, China, The US, and so on. I also teach Brazilian people to develop their skills and write essays to be accepted in universities. I love my job because I can help people to "evolve" (yes, like Pokémons), to get the abilities they want or need to get a job, a girl/boyfriend, to study in a foreign country, etc. I really love what I do.

I welcome and support people to learn European Portuguese. It’s a learning system that allows students to design their learning plans according to their own goals and needs. I provide tailored courses in European Portuguese as a Second Language and as a Foreign Language. My mission is to integrate international people in Portugal by developing their Portuguese language skills, opening them to increasingly meaningful and fulfilling interactions.

I have tutored for two years at the College of Charleston in German, French and Portuguese, as well as taught the beginning conversation courses for Portuguese students. During these positions, I worked a lot with textbooks and lesson plans, but I normally will adapt the students wants and needs to make sure they feel at ease and comfortable in order to learn the best they possibly can. As stated, my current work is with professionals, but I have experience with various profiles and am trained to work with students of various cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and ages. In addition, I can proficiently explain grammar in Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Dutch apart from my C2 languages.

After studying many languages, I have learned the best methods to quickly go from zero to conversational without wasting years in the classroom. I enjoy all aspects of languages such as speaking, reading, listening, grammar and comprehension. As a teacher I usually teach to my students the strategies that allowed me to speak three languages fluently. I learnt those strategies during the course of my life, looking out of the traditional academic schemes. I will teach you to be confident and to not be afraid of making mistakes, a crucial component for learning faster. I usually make the class a real conversation about the topics you prefer, in order to create the most relaxed environment possible, as if it was a talk with friends. Then, we will see together what we can improve about every areas of the language.

As a teacher, I will be very patient and attentive, always respecting the difficulties of each student and I will do my best so that there is a rapid and satisfactory evolution.

I’ve been teaching Portuguese online for 3 years. I graduated in journalism but I decided to start teaching Portuguese because I really want to help people. Teaching is my passion. I never stop learning something new. I am convinced that a good teacher should use fresh approach in teaching as I usually do. I’ve taught beginners and intermediate, as well as children.
