I fully understand how hard studying another language can be, which is something realized while teaching students English and studying by myself. My goal is to help you speak Korean easily with a firm grasp of grammatical principles and to help you with confusing and complicated vocabulary.

Since I majored in English education, I can speak English when you don't speak Korean well enough. I have taught many kinds of students in the last 10 years in all areas of Korean from grammar to conversation. I'm friendly and easy to talk to. I usually like to get to know my students first. I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with lots of preparation.

Since I graduated Myongji University in Korea, I have many years experience as a teacher teaching Korean and Maths to all different levels of students. I am passionate and kind and I have many resources for the learners. I would like to help the learners to achieve their goals.

When I was in university, I helped exchange students to adapt well in Korea. I hung out with them once a week and tried to communicate in Korean as much as possible. I corrected their sentences immediately and taught some fun Korean slangs. Also, I'm currently helping my coworker in Singapore by teaching her business Korean. I review her email and give feedback sentence by sentence. We chat in Korean every day like a friend. So I think I have excellent rapport with people making them speak up more. Looking back in 2012, for the first time, I started sharing culture and the Korean language with people who were interested in Hangul. I have steadily been teaching many students through that opportunity until now. Various students did not know anything about Hangul & Korea, but their interest in culture, K-pop, and K-dream enthusiasm for learning increased the learning effect. As a Korean teacher, I would like to organize a curriculum in each area, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, to meet the goals and levels of each learner who wants to learn Korean. In the beginner level, basic conversation, Korean grammar consonants and vowels, reading vocabulary, sentences, and reading fairy tales or primary school textbooks will also be good. In the intermediate level, we are going to read the lyrics and lines of Kpop, Kmovie, Kdrama, and understand the history and culture and manner of Korea, and read the Internet articles. In the advanced level, reading novels, newspapers and books will be good for discussion, writing letters, journals and book reports.
