I majored in Teaching Korean as a foreign language. I taught the Korean language at top-tier universities for several years. Through these experiences, I can develop my teaching skills, figure out students' Korean level (beginner, intermediate and advanced followed by Korean language centre) and provide specific classes. I specialized in teaching all the level. If you want to build solid Korean language foundations, learn correct pronunciation and understand ambiguous expression & vocabulary, I will be the best option for you.

I’m interested in not only learning foreign languages but also in teaching Korean to international learners. During my university years, I taught Korean to exchange students from different backgrounds and helped them achieve their goals. I usually correct their journals written in Korean and help them improve their conversational skills in formal and informal settings. I also taught Korean to adult learners who prepared for the TOPIK exam and they've got level 4-6 on that exam. I realized, however, that there is a huge gap between what I know and being a teacher to someone. That motivates me to study Second Language Acquisition deeply, so I took a lot of TESOL/TKSOL classes in college.

When I was in Korean, I taught Japanese to Korean students and after came to Australia, I taught Korean to foreigners as a Korean tutor. For this, I completed a Korean language teacher program. I would love to help you study Korean in an easy way and try to do my best to improve your Korean

After graduation, I wanted to study more about other things. Then I've realized I have some talent for teaching because many people around me have said to me so. It's also true that I like to help other people, so I started to study 'Teaching Korean' to get certification for about a year. I've been teaching Korean on Italki for about 3 years and I have an experience that I tutored my friend and her daughter living in their country, Norway. Now I can say it's my full-time job which I really enjoy. I think I'm so grateful to have this job because it's always enjoyable even though when I'm tired.

I like to test lots of methods myself as I still consider myself a student to be able to decide which way would be better for the students to learn faster, whenever I practice a new way in learning I apply it with my students and I find this really helpful cause I always experience new ways.

Currently, on-line classes are offered on weekdays after work and on weekends. I teach students from various countries, such as China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, the United States, and Brazil. The age group of students varies from 20s to 50s, and I teach a variety of students from beginners to free talking, I also teaching with textbooks such as 'Hanyang Korean', 'SungDae Korean', 'Seogang Korean', 'Korean Art History' and 'the Bible '. And at a Korean language study group in front of Hongik University, on the weekend, I did 1:1 class service for Japanese students for about 2 years.

As a teacher, I think that the most important thing when you are learning a foreign language is to feel comfortable and confident. Comfortable because you can learn in good conditions and get help whenever you need. Confident because you can feel that you make progress by practicing and that you are not afraid to do mistake. I always do my best to make my students feel comfortable and confident in the class. I have taught students from different countries so I can understand and help you easily when you encounter difficulties. Thanks to my studies and my experience, I can cover various activities and make you improve your pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and sentences.

The most important thing when it comes to language learning is to study with the right teacher and proper education that makes students keep putting their efforts into studying. I'm a verified teacher who can offer fun and informative class to students to make them improve their language skills effectively. I stay focused on what goal each student has and help him/her to manage their aims by various educational methods.

I have taught students from all over the world with different backgrounds. Working as a part-time tutor/teacher, I have become a patient person.
