I am a cheerful person and I try to give joy to my students. I think that learning without realising it is the best way to reach a goal. I know that every single student takes their own time to learn. I am very patient and I always wait for an answer. I think that silence is very important too and is not good to force a student to speak when he or she is not completely self-confident. As a teacher I will teach you to be confident avoiding the fear to making mistakes, which is a crucial component for learning faster. We will practice a lot through conversation which will help you to gain confidence in communicating and understanding Italian in typical “everyday scenarios”, and most important we will learn the Italian language using a cultural approach more than an academic one, without, however, neglecting the study of grammar and pronunciation. Our conversation will be setting in a relaxed environment, as if it was a talk with friends.

I've always helped my friends to learn French or Italian during my stay in France and also during my studies in Italy where I always helped foreign and Erasmus students learning Italian and English. I love to share my culture and to learn about other cultures, I really think that learning a new language is a way to connect, share and give yourself more possibilities and opportunities to reach your goals and to become a more open-minded and better person. I always try to share all of this during my lessons. That’s why I don’t like to say that I teach languages, I’d rather say that I exchange with people through the languages I speak.

I have a bachelor's degree in teaching Italian and English as foreign languages and I have experience in teaching to whole school classes but also in training individual students. I really enjoy teaching one-to-one lessons because students get to talk a lot and I can tailor the lesson to every student's needs. Having learned different languages myself, I can totally understand how you feel as a language learner, and thanks to my experience with international students, I have a feeling for the most difficult topics. Therefore, I'll make the class atmosphere as relaxed as possible :)

As a teacher I'm very open-minded and I love to try new methods of teaching. I read a lot about education and I also experiment on myself when I'm learning a language. Whatever I find to be effective, I'll bring into the class. Of course, I also take into account what you like and what your preference is. Overall, I'm an organized teacher who likes to create a comfortable classroom so that you get the most out of our lessons without feeling scared, intimidated, or overwhelmed.

I love teaching, it's something I've always wanted to do. In high school I attended Liceo classico: a specific kind of high school focused on learning Italian grammar, Italian literature, Latin, Ancient Greek, history and philosophy. That's why I've got a strong grammar basis and a deep knowledge of Italian literature as well. I think mistakes are a very important part of the learning process, you don't have to get discouraged from them.

I prepare and adapt my classes according to my students’ needs and goals. I think that it's important to find resources that interest you because language is a tool for discovery. I think it's easier to learn quickly if you're passionate and engaged with the lesson. Additionally, I am open to students bringing relevant material or conversation topics to lessons. My goal is to help you become confident when you communicate in Italian, French, German and English.

I suit the lesson to the student I have in front, independently from the age, and I try to achieve the goals as soon as desired. Together we're going to select the right tactic, discussing everything you need, and I'm going to teach you the right way! I focus on Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation. How do I work: I let the student speak (not being afraid of doing it) and filling out grammar exercises (to build the grounds of the Italian language!). I give homework (based on the availability of the student) and I correct them, sending the results via attachments. Most of all I never let the student get bored! keeping him/her busy all the time with new things to do!

I started teaching when I was 16 years old. I have taught adults and children, in private classes and public school. I have taught Italian, English, Spanish, Italian for foreigners, and figure skating! A life as a teacher! My favorite thing? Creating value and understanding the specific needs of my students. Gracias a mi formación entiendo las dificultades de aprender un idioma extranjero y los desafíos a los que se enfrenta un aprendiente. Me gusta crear un atmósfera de trabajo relajada para que mis estudiantes superen el miedo a hablar o a cometer errores y se sientan cómodos para experimentarse. También intento que mis estudiantes pasen un buen rato en las clases además de aprender.
