I’ve worked with students of different ages, at different learning levels and of different nationalities. In my opinion, the most important thing is to understand the pupil’s needs, because of that I always choose a method that best suits your needs.

I am very well organised and I am adaptable, I've always enjoyed working with various types of students with different motivations for learning: I centre my work on the needs and abilities of the students, my approach and methods adapt from time to time to the learning style and needs of the student, that's why the trial lesson is so important: to know each other and to plan the whole course. I always try to have fun during my lessons, because if I'm bored, the students are bored too. So I always propose new, interactive and attractive materials, I love using videos, songs, newspaper articles and multimedia applications for language learning.

I am in love with languages and I myself have been a language student, so I can say I am close to you! I perfectly master my native language and moreover I have published 4 novels and a lot of articles: so I adore to teach Italian to passionated people or to whom wants to get to know the culture of my country. I have been teaching students from different nationalities on 2 continents, so I know different methods of teaching.

I'm a certified teacher and I keep studying and improving my knowledge and abilities in order to do the best as possible for my students. I consider myself as a helpful, patient, resourceful, and caring person. I teach Italian in other platforms too, such as Preply and AmazingTalker. Most of my students are beginners and Spanish-speakers, but I have students of higher level too and from other countries of Europe and Asia. So, I love to face new situations and improve my experience. At the moment I teach to adults only.

I have been improving my teaching method in the last five years, and I constantly find out new ways of teaching and presenting my language, thanks to the students I have been in contact with: each of you is different, each of you has a different reason to learn Italian, and for business and for passion, each of you is a new book to discover and to fill with my knowledge.

I am a professional Italian teacher with DITALS II Certification of the University for Foreigners of Siena. I have been teaching for 8 years, both in schools and as a private teacher. I am patient, helpful and creative. I think it is very important to learn with fun, so I use to create enjoyable and engaging activities making you able to speak Italian from the first day in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The inspiration for this job came to me while I was a volunteer in Peru, in a small school in the Andes. There, I realized that I enjoyed learning other languages and that I could help others to do so, as I could speak about languages for hours! Since I started working I have never stopped! I looked for and found work in Italy, France and Romania, in different schools and international institution, like the Istituto italiano di cultura og Bucharest.

As a teacher I will teach you to be confident avoiding the fear to making mistakes, which is a crucial component for learning faster. We will practice a lot through conversation which will help you to gain confidence in communicating and understanding Italian in typical “everyday scenarios”, and most important we will learn the Italian language using a cultural approach more than an academic one, without, however, neglecting the study of grammar and pronunciation. Our conversation will be setting in a relaxed environment, as if it was a talk with friends.

After graduating, I have been teaching offline for the past five years. Firstly, I was a tutor for the Italian language certification exams (CELI) at the University of Perugia. I taught to students of all ages, from children to elders, that's why I developed an ability to adapt my teaching method to every student. I am a very patient person because I know how struggling could be to learn a new language. I love teaching and my main goal is to help you to reach your goals!

During my stay abroad I have always helped friends who were struggling to learn Italian and now it has become my job. Currently I am giving private lessons of Italian, English and Japanese to students from Elementary school to University and I love it right because every time it is a different challenge.

I came to teach quite by chance. I bumped into a job advert and send through my cv. Unexpectedly, they gave me an interview, which went well so I flew to UK to teach Italian. That was incredible. Since then, I have been specialising in teaching. I have a university degree in science communication, specialises in journalism and I am at the second year of a second degree in languages and foreigh cultures, specialises in English and Spanish.I have got the CEDILS certification which is a certification of competence in teaching Italian as a foreign language or second language. I have also got C1/2 level proficiency certificates in English, Spanish and Japanese (CAE, DELE C2, JLPT2).

In addition to having CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificates, I have been teaching English and Italian online since 2017 and have gained a great deal of experience. Moreover, I have experience teaching English here in Sicily privately and from time to time I work as a translator. Oltre ad avere i certificati CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) e TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), ho acquisito molta esperienza insegnando Inglese e Italiano online dal 2017 fino ad oggi.
