I like sharing my knowledge and my experience as much as possible with people from all around the world. I am a patient and thorough teacher, I like to get to the bottom of the things.

I am a primary school teacher (first grade) so I am used to teaching French and reflecting on the language. This has allowed me to take a step back from my mother tongue and to understand the ins and outs of it. Speaking is in my opinion the most important element of a language because it is what we will use to communicate and what we all (in general) spend more time getting comfortable with. Through role-playing, role-playing situations, discussions about a specific topic or current events, I like to bring in points of grammar and understanding of the language. Writing also plays an important role in my teaching and is always put in parallel with speaking.

It would be a pleasure to teach you some French! I will teach you how to sound French, understand the jokes and most importantly, to be confident when communicating in French!

Grâce à mes études, mes expériences en France et mon diplôme au Brésil, j’ai pu acquérir un très bon niveau en français. C’est la langue que j’utilise au quotidien. Ma langue maternelle est le portugais. Ayant appris le français de zéro, je suis passée par toutes les étapes de l’apprentissage du français, je peux donc vous aider à pratiquer, parler, écrire en français et en portugais. I have been a modern foreign language teacher (French, Spanish, and English) for nearly two decades. I started my teaching career as a business language instructor in the oil and gas industry before moving to teach in international schools in 2004. Since then, I have worked with children aged 3-18 (i.e., pre-school through high school). I am state certified to teach French, Spanish, and English to students of all ages, and as part of that process, I have passed state, national, and international background checks. For over a decade now, I have also worked as a trainer for modern foreign language teachers and to date, I have trained over a thousand teachers in more than sixty countries.

In my opinion, to learn a language it is important that you enjoy the lesson and also learn using the best methods that suit you best, so we will discuss your objectives, things you want to improve, mistakes you want to get rid of, and I will prepare you a personalized program. I have over 20 years' experience teaching and I specialize in oral communication skills. My conversation lessons aim to make you more comfortable listening and speaking. I have a great love for languages in general and have always been fascinated with how they work. I enjoy mapping one language onto another. I try to evoke this same interest in my students, and help them see both the similarities and the differences between their native language and the language they are learning.

Je suis arrivé en Equateur en 2015 où je suis devenu professeur de technologie et de sport dans l'école Joseph de Jussieu. En 2016, j'ai passé mon diplôme de professeur de FLE en Français et je suis devenue professeur de Français dans la même école mais aussi à l'alliance Française de Cuenca. Ma femme est Equatorienne et mes enfants binationaux, je suis donc habitué à évolué dans des domaines bilingues et j'essaye de faire progresser tout le monde dans la langue Française.
