It's been a while since I've started teaching. Since May 2021 it's been 6 years that I'm a teacher and although my young age, I already have a lot of experience. I'm almost done in college since I'm writing my thesis now, and after four years and a half, I'll be getting my English Teacher University Degree

I have worked as a tutor, tutoring grade 10 to 12 History learners and I have also worked as a Teacher Assistant (TA) at Mvula Primary School. Both roles have equipped me with an understanding of how to identify the learner's needs and how to make learning fun in order to cater for different learner needs. I have decided to work as a community tutor at iTalki because it will help me grow not only as an individual but also as a professional in the field of education, as a student teacher.

I have over six years' experience teaching languages to children, teenagers, and adults of different backgrounds and nationalities. I have taught English and Italian in Italy, Australia, Germany, Macedonia, England, Slovakia and Spain on a one-to-one basis as well as in a group setting. I took my CELTA Certificate (Pass B) in 2016 at IH Milan. In 2018 I also completed the IH CYLT course that helped me develop my skills in teaching young leaners. I have been teaching on ITALKI since 2014 and it is the best job I have ever had. I have been teaching some of my students online since the very beginning. I have also met some of them in person, either in their own countries or in Italy.

As a student of several languages, I have been able to understand the needs of the students when it comes to understanding a language. I hope we get along in class and have a good time.

I have tutored numerous English learners over the years in all areas that I have lived. These were always one-on-one informal sessions that differed for each student. Some were simply focused on fluency as the learners already had a strong grasp of English, others were more formalized as I taught grammar and vocabulary that was necessary in international business meetings and documentation.

As a teacher, I am patient and empathetic and I will adapt myself to your needs and goals. If you decide to have lessons with me, we will discuss the topics that interest you the most and I will provide you with tools and resources so that you can continue studying on your own and at your own pace.

My approach to teaching is student oriented. I would first asses the level and likes/dislikes of the prospective student and come up with relevant material.

I teach my students with great love and care. I'm a very good listener and will resolve your language problems patiently.

I have nine years of experience teaching students of all ages and nationalities. Whatever you want to learn whether you are a complete beginner looking to learn the basics or a more advanced student looking to progress I can help you. I can also teach you any of the Cambridge exams from PET to Proficiency and am also qualified to teach IELTS and know exactly what the examiners are looking for.

I am an Official Palfish Teacher, and have a TESOL certificate from the International Open Academy. I really enjoy helping kids learn English and I wanted to branch out and help more people. I have also helped friends with their English, both with correcting conversation and helping them write posts for their business so that it flowed better.

I have tutored for two years at the College of Charleston in German, French and Portuguese, as well as taught the beginning conversation courses for Portuguese students. During these positions, I worked a lot with textbooks and lesson plans, but I normally will adapt the students wants and needs to make sure they feel at ease and comfortable in order to learn the best they possibly can. As stated, my current work is with professionals, but I have experience with various profiles and am trained to work with students of various cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and ages. In addition, I can proficiently explain grammar in Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Dutch apart from my C2 languages.

I am a people person, friendly and outgoing. I am determined to make everything i do a success, which includes ensuring you learn as much as possible from me. When I was younger I had au pairs, to allow my parents to work full time, which means that from a young age i have been interacting with people wanting to improve their English. My experience and passion makes me an ideal English language teacher.

I understand that every student is different and that each student has different goals and capabilities. I aim to use each lesson as an opportunity to help you improve your language skills, but still personalize the lesson to your capabilities. I will always try my best to assist each student in the best way possible.

I am TEFL Certified in English and would love to teach you! I like talking about contemporary events and enjoy speaking about, art, history, music and different cultures. If you are interested in traveling, I am the right teacher for you because I have traveled through most of South America, Europe, and the Middle East. I can point you towards multiple resources for your travels and tools that you can use in work, for I have also worked in Marketing and studied my first BA in Business Management in Berlin. I believe in using media to help learn a language, songs, articles and literature are tools that are very helpful.

At work I try to establish and maintain good and friendly relationship with my students and colleagues. When teaching, I believe in being then and there, giving 100% to achieve progress. IELTS 8.5

I offer conversational English to students. My accent is clear and easy to understand. I am patient and encouraging, and this helps students to become comfortable and confident while learning. Learning a new language can be very challenging. However, I'm here to help you achieve your English goals.

I have taught a fair amount of people back in my school years, as a part-time job. I am patient, understanding and hardworking with quite the attention to detail.

I have a master degree in Teaching and CELTA from Cambridge and I'm doing my PhD in Education Technology in Canada. I can help you with IELTS, FCE, CAE and any other purposes. Using different Interactive activities and games are my strong points.

In addition to two years teaching English oral expression, I also have two years of experience teaching high school biology, environmental science, and anatomy/ physiology, so I'm happy to talk science in English with you. I love incorporating a variety of learning tools so that you're getting what you need.
