My priority is to help you improve your communication skills. I will make sure you learn the 3 languages I am fluent in, i.e. English, French, and Arabic. I teach from my office, where I have high-speed wifi, HD camera, whiteboard, marker pens, flashcards, and many other teaching materials.

As a teacher, I enter each classroom with a rich experience allowing me to identify both a student's strengths and weaknesses. I am flexible and approachable, and I make a concerted effort to help ease any tensions a student may be feeling towards learning a new language or attempting to pass a test. I am a great believer that the learning experience should be a pleasurable one, and that people perform best in the classroom when they are enjoying the process. I am British and speak the English language with a very neutral accent which makes me easy to understand. I am also very familiar with the IELTS test, having successfully coached many students from around the world to reach their goal.

I have worked as a teacher for the past three years while developing my teaching skills through the completion of an MATESOL and enrolling in a doctoral degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have enjoyed working with a variety of ages, from children to adults. In addition to my master's degree, I also hold a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts (Grades 5-12) and have worked with the board of education in Japan for the past year. My top priority as an instructor is to see you grow, developing the skills you need to achieve your success.

Languages are my favorite hobby. I study them everyday, and can relate the struggle to improve your skills. In addition to using my language learning experience, I also draw on my previous years of experience teaching different people of different ages and with different English levels. My professional life has always oscillated around working with people. My career and academic choices were fueled by my fascination with human psychology. Thus, while working with people I have always striven for comprehension of human behaviour and the motivational factors behind their decision-making. This helps me understand my students and enables me to react to their needs in a prompt and efficient manner. I like to create an atmosphere where 'mistakes' are not something to be afraid of , but are viewed as a chance to improve. I enjoy a relaxed learning environment but I am comfortable with pointing out ways people can enhance their English skills and will do it in a constructive way. I believe building relationships and getting to know students likes and dislikes is key to a good series of lessons and I will use teaching strategies that have worked for me as a teacher and a learner in the past.

I am fully qualified to teach English as a second language, and my qualifications include specialisation in teaching students online as well as teaching Business English. I am currently studying for my DELTA qualification. I've been teaching English for 2 years now, and editing and proofreading English copy and text for many more years. I will accept students from age 13 and above at any level, and I specialise in teaching English for academic purposes, editing and proofreading, and Business English.

As an English/Persian interpreter and teacher in the past few years, I came across many language learners who have difficulty speaking or hearing correctly. Fixing this problem is what I do! Since moving to the Philippines, I have learned what it means to need a new language for everyday life. I know what it's like to understand what you hear and then be unable to respond. I appreciate that an intelligent person, who has a great vocabulary in their native language, may feel frustrated when they struggle to say something in their second language. I understand how it feels to be unable to show your personality because you cannot think of the right words. I want to help every person who takes a lesson from me feel more comfortable using what they know, and I want to be a part of their continued growth. I understand what my students need because I am a student.

I have a lot of experience teaching all ages, all levels and a lot of different kinds of courses. I teach General English, TOEFL, IELTS, Business English and Conversation courses. I like teaching beginners because I feel like I can help them a lot with the basics, but I also love working with advanced students because we can have a lot of interesting conversations.
