I've been teaching on Italki since 2019 and I had many students from countries around the world. On Italki I teach Catalan and Spanish (A1-C2) (as my native languages) and Latin (A1-C2) which I studied at A-levels and at the university. Also, I've been teaching Catalan and Spanish face to face to foreign students in Catalonia. Faig classe a Italki des del 2019 i he tingut alumnes de països de tot el món. I want you to have fun while learning Spanish and Catalan. I also want you to learn more than a language since, while practicing the language you choose, we will learn intercultural skills and tips to help you prepare you to dive into a culture that is totally different to the one you grew up in. In class, we will enjoy novels, stories, music and culture from different parts of the world. Since a language structures the way we perceive reality, let’s make our reality as wide as possible! I do not follow a book and every lesson is completely personalised, I according to your interests and fields to improve. And now, tell me: what do YOU want while learning and improving a language?

I worked as a teacher and an eLearning Specialist in Barcelona for 9 years. Currently, I live in Toronto where I teach Spanish and Catalan as a foreign language. I have a wide experience teaching groups, in-class and private lessons as well as online. I have 14 years of experience in the Education field. As a committed and professional teacher I´m always eager to improve my lessons content, and topics. Therefore, she recently completed an eLearning Certificate at the University of Toronto which provides her more knowledge to keep improving her lessons and learning content.

I enjoy teaching any level from absolute beginners to more advanced students. I am a patient and organized teacher. I will adapt my lessons to help you to achieve your goals. We will work together step by step to improve your Spanish or Catalan in a flexible and relaxing way.

I have more than 1 year of experience as an online teacher, teaching both children and adults. Beginners and Intermediate students are welcome! For advance students, I can offer conversation practice lessons.

I am trilingual in English, Spanish and Catalan. I believe that practicing through conversation is the most effective way to learn a language because it allows you to interiorize the concepts better. For instance, it is always better to run than to think about running. We will practice by listening, learning new vocabulary, speaking, making mistakes and having fun. We will focus on what you specifically need, so you can get the best out of each class. The learning environment will be relaxed, friendly and comfortable, so you don't feel any pressure while practicing. I am really enthusiastic and I will make sure that If you ever get frustrated, you will regain motivation for the language.

I consider myself an empathetic and patient person, but above all, eager to teach my two native languages. I have the experience of having taught subjects in which students needed reinforcement, currently but especially in my school days. I have also taught Catalan and Spanish to adults who were introducing themselves to the language and to those who want to improve it. Over time, I have been improving my teaching in classes, being able to adapt to the level and needs of each student.

I am a very passionate teacher because I love learning. I also love seeing the improvement in my students. I have been teaching since I graduated University and it is a job that I truly love. I think being a teacher does not mean having all the answers but being open-minded and accepting of other points of views. I always say learning goes both ways, since you can also learn from your students as a teacher. I have a master’s degree in Spanish Language, a Professional Spanish Teacher certificate by International House and I am a certified examiner for the DELE (all levels).

I’m also studying to improve my English, so I know how hard it can be to learn a new language. That’s why I think it’s very important to make learners feel comfortable in class.

What I liked the most was the satisfaction of having encouraged someone to see studying as important and not as a boring mandatory activity. I always loved languages and to help fellow students, so now I´m looking forward to doing that again. I am also a very friendly, sympathetic person that is always there to give a hand and hear what you need.

I have been travelling and working since 2008 in different countries. I am a passionate sports person and as a Spanish man, I like football very much :) I like to spend time also running or spending time actively outside. I enjoy studying different languages such as English, Latvian and Russian or continuing my education by joining on line courses to improve my teaching skills in Spanish.

I am patient, and i love when i see the student improving. I like to create a very nice atmosphere in my classes. A veces aprender un nuevo idioma puede ser duro y frustrante, pero creo que con buen humor y muchas ganas puede ser muy divertido. N´estic completament segur.

Soy una persona entregada, responsable y organizada que pretende enseñar todo aquello necesario para conseguir que los demás se sientan seguros de sí mismos. Soy estudiante y siempre me han interesado las lenguas. Por eso, ofrezco un tipo de clases más dinámicas y lúdicas que puedan ayudar a los usuarios a saber comunicarse mejor en Español o Catalán si lo necesitan. Todo aquello que solicite un alumno se tendrá en cuenta para seguir mejorando y creando un ambiente de trabajo sano y libre.

Don't worry about your level I am really easy going and patient. I like to see how improvements are coming meanwhile we have fun learning a new language. I also love learning languages and I would like to transmit that passion therefore my classes are far from being boring and strict. No te preocupes por el nivel que tengas, soy paciente y me gusta enseñar y ver como se progresa de manera amena y divertida. Me encanta aprender nuevos idiomas es por eso que mis clases están lejos de ser aburridas y estrictas. No pateixis pel teu nivell, tinc paciència i i devoció per ensenyar i progressar passant-ho bé. Puc assegurar que no t'avorriràs a les meves classes.

I got a certification in Education (C.A.P) specialised in teaching languages, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. I also got a certification in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Cálamo & Cran, Barcelona. My experience in teaching in France, Spain and Ireland has allowed me to improve my language skills, as well as to increase my ability to adapt to new cultures and environments. I have been teaching at High Schools in France, as a language instructor for companies in Barcelona and Paris, and in private lessons during my years in these countries. I love helping and motivating students improve their language skills, which makes them return to me for more lessons.

Enseñé en español a inmigrantes y solicitante de asilo como voluntaria en la Cruz Roja en 2009. En el curso 2009-2010 ejercí como Auxiliar de Conversación en dos institutos en Austria.
