I can't say enough good things about Amy. On top of having an incredible knowledge of Korean grammar and linguistics that more than justifies her professional status on iTalki, she's also one of the most empathetic teachers I've had.

Another great lesson with 에이미 선생님! Tonight we kicked things off chatting about weekend plans - I always find this a great start to our lessons because it helps me build vocabulary related to things I do on a daily basis. Sometimes it leads to fun tangents too - this evening, for example, it ended up morphing into a discussion about the final season of Game of Thrones. After that, it was onto new vocabulary and reading a story. The latter was an excellent exercise. I would read a section and then 에이미 선생님 would ask me questions. As a result, it was not only a good speaking/pronunciation exercise but a good comprehension and listening exercise too. Props to 에이미 선생님 for always changing things up, keeping me on my toes and making our lessons fun, interesting and productive. It's no mean feat to do that week in, week out while remaining steadfastly supportive and patient at the same time. If you are looking to book a Korean lesson with an italki tutor, I cannot recommend 에이미 선생님 more highly.

Amy was really kind and patient as we worked together. She's so nice and accommodating. She made me feel at ease even though I was nervous, and helped me know where I needed to improve and what to work on next.

Today I had my 200th lesson with Amy 선생님, all taken within this year, almost every single day so far in 2019. She’s been a tremendous help and very supportive of my (very ambitious) goal of reaching the B2 level within 1 year. We still have 3 months to go, and lots to learn, but I wouldn’t stand a chance, or progressed as much, without Amy! 정말 감사합니다!

This was a great class! I am so happy Amy was recommended to me. I'm excited about studying with Amy and learning so much more.
