My name is Yvonne. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher and a TEFL certified. I have my Bachelor's degree in Education and Master of Arts in Vocational Education at Cebu Technological University. I am currently working as a full time public school teacher, a part-time Business English trainer to Japanese professionals and an italki teacher teaching Filipino and Cebuano languages.

Teaching has been my passion since I was young. It is sharing yourself with other people through giving the appropriate information. The reward of teaching is to see students improve with their skills. I have my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification. Tagalog is one of the official languages in the Philippines that's why I can speak and teach this well. I was able to teach Filipino (or Tagalog) when I became a substitute teacher in the public school last 2017. I am a fluent "Bisaya" speaker both "Cebuano" and "Boholano". I am patient, dedicated, and most of all committed to my job. I always make sure that I meet my student's expectations.

I've been teaching foreign students for years now as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor. I can apply the methodologies I learned as an ESL teacher in teaching Tagalog and Cebuano. I've been molded by my experience to have a correct approach especially adjusting to the different levels of students. I've handled individual and group classes. I have attended training and seminars on how to be an effective teacher. I got different teaching resources that will aid me in delivering the language. I am also adept at using software applications such as Google and Microsoft applications that will be beneficial in providing quality lessons.
