Hello! This is Skyla Yu. My hometown is Guangzhou, Cantonese is my mother language and my Mandarin is proficient as well.. Four years ago, I started my new journey at southern California. Before I moved to Unite States, I worked at the Universal Music over 10 years. I was in charge of the publish and promotions of the singers and their albums. I love music, fashions, and traveling. Exploring different cultures and lifestyle are my passion. I have been to over 20 countries. It makes me having many foreign friends. I am so lucky to having them. They inspire me a lot, that’s the reason I become a Chinese teacher.

I have been teaching Chinese online since 2018. A a Chinese teacher, the most important thing is helping my student feel confident when they use the second language. I treat my students as my friends. Most of my advanced students have been following my classes from beginners. They insist on achieving their goal. I am so proud of them.

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

In my class, according to students' demand, I make the specific learning plan for them. There will be plenty of the oral conversation in my classes. Music, videos, pictures are my teaching methods. Whatever children or adult, they feel confidant, relax and funny during the classes. Also, we have a discussion about the popular topic or news every time. A little bit assignment is necessary. My assignments are creative. I am sure you would enjoy it.
