Hello! I am Teacher Anna. I am 38 years old, happily married, and blessed with one beautiful daughter. I am from the Philippines, particularly in Leyte, Eastern Visayas. I am a government worker here in our place. I also used to be a College Instructor. I finished a Bachelor's Degree in Development Communication. My hobbies include crocheting, sewing, macrame, beadworks, sketching, cooking, interior decorating, and reading novels and magazines. I also love spending time with my family and do outdoor activities with them. I am a sociable person and I find joy in meeting new people because it gives me the opportunity to know their culture and traditions. I look forward to meeting you then.

Ik als leerkracht

I previously worked as a College Instructor and the experience was very valuable to me. I taught English, Literature, Philippine History, and Filipino subjects to college students or young adults. As a teacher, I always encourage participation in my class and also seek out opinions from my students with regard to class activities and projects. I am a patient and easy-going teacher, but with limits. Teaching, for me, is a great profession because I am able to contribute to their academic learning.

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

I will patiently teach my students the Cebuano and Tagalog dialects. I will teach them easy topics at first so I can gauge or assess their knowledge level with these dialects. As time passes, we will gradually pace up and tackle difficult topics or lessons. I want my learning sessions to be participatory on the student's side so that they can get to practice speaking or conversing in these dialects. In this way, they can gain confidence in speaking Cebuano and Tagalog. I will use teaching materials from time to time so that it will be easier for the students to grasp the lessons.
